On Saturday, ISIS fighters captured the Eastern al-Hayr Palace east of al-Sukhnah town in the eastern Homs countryside, according to the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq.

Amaq added that ISIS captured Tayba and Shanhas villages northeast of al-Sukhnah and the al-Dahik mountains north of the town.

The media outlet also claimed that ISIS fighters killed 27 soldiers of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), and destroyed 2 battle tanks and a vehicle of the SAA during their advance.

From its side, pro-government sources confirmed that the SAA and its allies repelled the previous ISIS attack, and recaptured all lost positions south and west of al-Sukhnah town and near the Hail gas field. ISIS likely launched its second attack east of the al-Sukhnah town after its first attack failed.

ISIS will likely continue contributing efforts in the eastern Homs countryside. The ISIS leadership views this attack as a vital factor for the survival of the terrorist group. Epically that both the SAA and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are pressuring down on the last ISIS strongholds in the Euphrates Valley.

In a related development, the Hezbollah media wing announced that the SAA and Hezbollah advanced 4km on the highway between Humaymah village and the T-2 station near the Syrian-Iraqi border. This move by the SAA and Hezbollah will for sure make things more complicated for ISIS ongoing attack in the eastern Homs countryside.

Reports appeared that the SAA Tiger Forces were redeployed to Deir Ezzor governorate. According to pro-government sources, the Tiger Forces will soon launch an attack to capture the ISIS stronghold of Mayadin in the southeastern Deir Ezzor countryside. The Tiger Forces are currently stationed in Deir Ezzor Airport 34km north of Mayadin city.

Earlier on Saturday, the SDF seized the Jirah oil field from ISIS northeast of Deir Ezzor city. The Jirah oil field is located west of al-Khajjah village on the eastern bank of the Euphrates.

Now, the SDF would be able to cut off the SAA and its allies deployed on the eastern bank from the oil fields located in the area.

the russian led coalition is always winning and gaining strength and strategies – and most important, they are clean in all their war tactics …. God bless each one of them

Mikronos

Don’t know about always but they seem to know how to roll with the punches , get back up and hit harder. What’s impressive is that there is real support for Putin’s great adventure – unlike the US where people try to forget it.

RichardD

American’s voted for better relations with Russia. The Jew baby rapers are trying to deny it.

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

Big mistake for SDF to take those fields. It now means you will have to die defending what is not yours to take. SDF has only gotten worse by absorbing some elements of the jihadist FSA from other parts of Syria.

Solomon Krupacek

nothing will happen :(

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

Keep pressing your luck

Travis Kelso

Snore, you guys lost. All you have left is bombed out buildings and the SDF has all the water and energy resources. Russia will bail soon.

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

“SDF has all the water and energy resources” Demonstrably false, try again

Travis Kelso

Ah well they will seize everything east of the Euphrates oh and hate to break it to you. Their is no such thing as a Syrian. Its a made up country by a bunch of European imperialists.

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

Whether or not you think Syrians are a real thing, everyone else surrounding the Kurds will fight them and put an end to their bullshit.

Travis Kelso

you guys are all talk. I’m going to put this very Simply to you. No country on Earth will challenge militarily the United States. You can occasionally lob a missile or a round at the SDF but no military will challenge a area where our military has bases. Period! Oh and guess what it will be paid for by the Saudis and not by the Americans. So Assad is screwed. Who is going to pay for the reconstruction in Syria? Russia? America? The UN? Its over and the real problem will be coming soon from his Assads own supporters who can’t turn the lights on.

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

Travis, you are no less of a talker

Travis Kelso

Yea but i’m right! If you really thought it out you can see that is what is going to happen. Russia is spent financially and politically. Putin is getting static back home and is running out of money. He will turn on Assad soon.

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

and I am righter

Travis Kelso

You guys just come here to only listen to what you want to hear. You give nothing in actual facts on the ground. The US has a very stable partner in the Kurds, something lacking in the middle east in the past other than Israel. I just figured you guys would talk more about geopolitical facts on the ground and the reality of American Power.

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

You come to stir shit, I see such mentality enough elsewhere. The level of American Power is not the main point of contention, its how that power is misused. There should be no complaint of Mid East instability when the US and Israel have greatly contributed to it. Nation building all over the world is not what the Founding Fathers intended and they warned against entangling alliances.

Travis Kelso

Misused? You mean after WW2 we had the bomb for 4 years and could’ve leveled the entire world and we didn’t. I’m not on here saying this wasn’t planned by the CIA and the Israelis. I’m on here telling you the end game. You guys think Assad will get anything from the SDF? No. The chaos is what has kept Assad in power. The trouble for him comes when the bullets stop. Losing the oil and gas was a big deal. Even with that he couldn’t have rebuilt the money and the world bank and US won’t give a red cent to that douche. Just think about it. Who has more to lose when their done fighting terrorists? His war economy will crumble due to lack of investment and devastation.

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

It’s about (((their))) globalist agenda. They want to run a prison planet of border-less, race-less, culture-less, nation-less, identity-less subdued sheep. They make up less than 1% of the world’s population, yet look at all they control from the world’s finances to the media that brainwashes us. The non-Jewish elites that side with them are either hoping they don’t get culled too or marry into Jewish lineages to preserve their bloodline.

In short, they use the entertainment and news media to encourage globalism and discourage nationalism and traditional western values. They distort and lie about the present and past in that effort.

Travis Kelso

Compared to a one Race system if the Nazi had won. So in what you describe is you say the wrong team won WW2 but then you trying to defend traditional western values? You don’t make any sense you contradict your entire beginning argument with your 2nd statement. Final is this a White Supremacist website because if it is I want nothing to do with it (this is an actual question)?

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

I just post here. Southfront can remove it if they wish, but you should leave anyway. Not like you are going to, since -again- you are here to stir shit. All the white supremacist sites have been shut down by the semitic DNS services.

Travis Kelso

Its a debate, I’m sure I will be removed because I’m not telling you guys what you want to hear. Your only interested in Internet victories.

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

I’m only interested in ending global kikery. Jews won’t leave me the fuck alone, so the Jewish question is non-debatable. That’s why you’re thinking I’m only here for internet victories.

Travis Kelso

Get a girlfriend, have some kids. Then maybe you can find other things to do than waste your time thinking that will happen.

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

That’s an unimaginative cop-out which I’ve seen all too often. Why have kids if you do nothing to protect their future?

Travis Kelso

Huh? Nobody is guaranteed the next day dude. You only live once and you spending your time hating on Jews sounds like a waste of time to me. But since you’ve seen this all too often then you already knew that.

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

No more a waste of time than you trying to debate here.

Travis Kelso

That tells me all I need to here from you. Good day sir.

zman

Man, it is a waste of time. This is a new identity…he didn’t exit as this identity on Diqus before today. Definitely a paid troll. The only answer I have for this low life from now on is FO.

Travis Kelso

So your saying people get paid to do this? Man who do I talk to do that?

Bill Wilson

The losers who run SF! I’m pretty sure that most of their supporters are Alcoholic Russian Queers that write under several handles.

zman

look in the mirror.

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

I checked that hours ago, but I have a bad habit of replying.

Bill Wilson

LOL!

zman

Unfortunately SF does not remove comments, no matter how stupid or incompetent. Now if you go to one of those with a like mind as yours…Breitbart, for instance, only Zionist commenter’s need post…all intelligent comments are pulled.

Travis Kelso

sorry you struggle with dissenting opinion.

zman

God, YES!, please leave. Go to Breitbart and quit wasting our time…you’ll be welcomed there with open arms.

Jon Christiers

The nazis won WW2. They are now ruling CIA, Washington DC, Wall Street and Federal Reserve. CIA imported the Gestapo Chief Reinhard Gehlen and all his agents. They taught americans how to torture people.

mitro

A solid partner, very funny they deal with YPG wich is an organization on their terrorist list since they are marxist, and linked to their counterpart in Turkey. USA is doomed to decline since your master are just scumbag bankster. Besides the bullshit about bad economy of Russia is quite stupid, just repeating fake news of the corrupted zionist media of USA. Check the real statistics before making yourself a fool.

Travis Kelso

Yea how is the rubble trading right now? What is the average life expectancy in Russia? Brilliant to have half of your entire economy tied up in the energy market. Winning!

Bill Wilson

LOL! These assholes are just a collection of alcoholic Russian twinkie trolls who write whatever the bozos running SF tell them to!

Lone Wolf

@disqus_f55cjQz1an:disqus @traviskelso:disqus … LoL … you two sure are enjoying drinking your own Kool-Aid .. Let me guess .. you two are from below … https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/.premium-1.541142 http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/students-offered-grants-if-they-tweet-pro-israeli-propaganda-8760142.html

and you accuse others of being a troll .. ? but atleast they are not a Propaganda officers .. like you two .. LOL .. !!!

zman

Same old crap from you. If I was your handler I’d fire you for incompetence…oh, that’s right, it’s a requirement for your job.

Travis Kelso

Pretty sad they can’t handle any dissent. You Zionist. Huh? These guys all assume that the SAA is just going to start fighting the YPG. With what air force? All SAA does is take selfies in the desert with shirts they bought from Baby Gap.

Jon Christiers

You say Russia is spent financially when their BNP grows with 3,5% (China 7%) (USA 1,6%) and when people use dollar to wipe their ass! Crazy man.

Travis Kelso

Ha well I live in the State of Texas and our economy GDP is the same as Russia with only 28 million people, compared to Russia’s 175 million people. Let me explain some math to you. If you have $100 and you grow at 3% and they other guy has $100,000 and grows at 1.6% who do you think has more money at the end? Oh and how did it work last time the Russians spent almost 20% of their GDP on military expense?

Jon Christiers

Oh,…..I didn’t know that you love in the State of Texas, the State that is going to fix the US debts and colonize the rest of the world. Well, you might have the ability and experience. You killed the natives in Texas and stole their land, and now you are killing the natives in Middle East and steal their oil wells. But, you will have some trouble with stealing the land of Russia. I will give you a piece of advice,…..read what happened to the King of Sweden, Karl XII, Napoleon and Hitler. The Russians are hard to kill.

Travis Kelso

Yup, we did all of those things. Doesn’t change the narrative of what I’ve laid out. Russia will make a deal. Assad will be forced from power, only for the reason that no one will pay for Syria reconstruction when the war is over. Winning the peace is outside the financial scope of Assads allies.

Bill Wilson

Assad is a puppet just like his daddy. The regional warlords control Syria just like their counterparts in Lebanon. Russia can give a rat’s ass about Assad nor Hezbollah and rather see the latter severely weakened by fighting Daesh and others so the IDF and Lebanese Army can wipe out those Shi’ite pig dogs in the near future. Assad is lucky to have the Kurds/SDF on his side. They able to set up local governments and their institutions which is something Assad’s hard pressed to do since his government lacks the monies and qualified workers to do that.

คงศักดิ์ วงศ์ชูศรี

I think you are puppet of Isis.

Ronald

You might remember Vietnam . 1974 the lights went out on a failed US . “regime change” .

Travis Kelso

Oh you mean after the United States lost 60,000 men? Or you mean when the only funding partner for their continual occupation was the United States? Could you mean that United States was trying to prop up a destroyed infrastructure in a country that wasn’t fighting with the motivated side (sound familiar)? I could go on? Or maybe it was we knew that the poor people of Vietnam weren’t a threat? But just maybe we do know that the middle east is literally the opposite of what I said. Its very strategic important.

Ronald

@ Travis Kelso In 1958 there was to be an election in S Vietnam to decide if it wanted to rejoin with N Vietnam , by the Geneva Convention of 1956 . Eisenhower explained to Nixion , his VP , that the election could not be allowed because Ho Chi Minh would take 80 % of the vote. So with no election as promised , the Viet Cong were founded in Sept of 1958 . Like many Americans in the federal government , you like to talk freedom , but don’t allow it for others.

VeeNarian (Yerevan)

“No country on Earth will challenge militarily the United States.” Vietnam, lost. Afghanistan, lost. Syria, lost. The US/EU/NATO/GCC/Israel gang should get out of Syria before they are thrown out. It may take some time, but the Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran alliance will throw the US/EU/NATO/GCC/Israel gang out of all their lands. They do not need Russia or any outside power to make the lives of the US invaders very uncomfortable. And your boys do like their comforts from back home, don’t they? Have you forgotten the beating the US forces took in Iraq and are still taking from Afghan tribals? Time to go home or it will be a very uncomfortable ride in the last helicopters out of the “Kurdistan project”.

zman

Well, genius, explain what happened to those 59 high tech US cruise missiles. Did the systems just have a bad day? When did the US last shoot down a Russian aircraft? Look at the illustrious F-35 CF, those great Littoral ships that can’t sail in rough seas, whose engines seize up simply from being run. how many had to be towed home? And what defense system does the US have to shoot down Russian hyper-speed missiles? Once the western proxies are gone, which includes the traitorous Kurds, Syria will start reclaiming their oil and gas revenues. Saudi can’t even beat the flip-flop warriors in Yemen…even with Israeli, US, Sudanese and UAE help. Saudi is being pushed to the limit of their finances by the western gambit of over production. America is so screwed by the thievery that is rampant in the US, we can’t even afford to keep our infrastructure in decent shape…we’re even leasing and selling infrastructure. Saudi will be lucky to survive 5 more years, maybe less if the Yemeni continue to target their oil fields and bases. They’ve also said that UAE is next and good riddance.

Travis Kelso

Don’t be made, Syria and Iran spent all of the money in this war just to have the United States take over half of Syria. If that is winning than I’m not sure what you guys look like when your losing.

Stein

Still Syrians made it into something that worked, in contrast to what the West now had in mind for Syria – chaos like Libya. SAA/allies can still take the border and isolate the colonial mercenaries.

Travis Kelso

To expensive to hold, once the fighting stops who is going to pay all that money for the SAA to keep that massive force supplied and fed? Just think about it. Stable partner for US check. Russia cant afford to float the bill. But guess who can for American backed force?

Bill Wilson

LOL! The Sissy Arab Army can’t wipe it’s own ass without getting shit on their fingers.

zman

I was wondering where you were. You’re late to the shill party with your witty repartee.

RTA (Bob or Al)

There are 5, maybe 6 trolls working together, IGNORE THEM.

South Front needs to get its act together and give us back the right to block and report these bots.

Melotte 22

SDF will be destroyed like the rest of terrorists in Syria, unless they become smarter, sit down and start discussing with Syrian government some sort of autonomy for Kurds. Me personaly, I would like to see them destroyed. They are enemy of Syria, using this war to steal Syrian land.

Rodger

Why would Russia bail? If they leave they can let the US correct its huge mistake of supporting the Kurds too much. They will keep the pressure on so the US has to double down and bet on a free Kurdistan (which is doomed if it ever gets started under these circumstances).

Travis Kelso

US dosnt have to double down. 1. the gulf states will pay for reconstruction in US dominated zones. 2. the israelis will never let Iran have the access to its region with a Hezbollah who is now has a more direct route to Iran. Since Assad has lost most of the Oil and Gas and water resources how do you figure they will pay for the reconstruction? Would it be the US? Not with Assad. How about the UN? Nope. It cant be Russia the are broke. When the terrorists are gone Assads people will turn on him so they can turn the lights on. Think a little bigger. Assad, Iran and Russia don’t have the $$$

Jesus

Assad and the Russians have not lost anything, the outcome in Syria will be decided on the battlefield, not politically. Kurds have no real army, and US is trying to accomplish something on the cheap, without involving their boots on the ground. US would not fare well against Russia, Iran, SAA and allies. US will not take heavy casualties to protect the Kurds, they do not have much skin in the game.

Travis Kelso

Your missing the fact that they have a reliable partner like I had mentioned in previous posts. Afghanistan is indefensible terrain (even though US will still get all of the resources) the Afghans aren’t going to pull it out of the ground. Vietnam was mass US causilites and no resources to be taken, lost political will. The US population isn’t even paying attention to the war so the political ability to stay in the middle east will be easier this time. Like I said before the US will put permanent troops in Syria. With or without the UN approval. Oh and Russia, Iran, SAA and allies airforce and navies would be grounded in a afternoon if they tried to launch a actual attack on US forces. That is a fact. Russia cant even keep a aircraft carrier from sinking.

Jesus

Like I said, US is trying to do something on the cheap, it does not have much skin in the game ……SOFs have severe limitations against a mechanized army with tanks, SPG’s, MLR and the works. Let’s not forget sea launched Kaliber missiles and Iskander ballistic tactical missiles, among other toys of war.

Travis Kelso

We aren’t even having to pay for it. The Saudis will pay for it. The Germans will pay for it. The US 100 of bases everywhere 1 hour away from every inch in Syria. So your mechanized army wont mean anything. You not seeing that the US won this is what is tragic.

Jesus

US does not have much skin in the games because it is broke; gulf monarchies finances ISIS, HTS, FSA and a variety of other groups, which are all defeated and bottled up in Idlib. US and allies lost in in Aleppo, Homs and Hama provinces. You claim they have won in Deir Ezzor province? They already have two bridge heads east of Eufrates, and it is a matter of time as significant forces will deploy and move eastwards. SDF humvees and light equipment are a joke against SAA and allies tanks SPGs MLRS and APCs.

US does not want a heavy involvement in Syria aside from financial burdens, because it will be facing a peer country in military capabilities that will bleed them heavily.

Travis Kelso

Once again another lack of a war mind. Thank goodness none of you guys lead any armies. So your saying that Russia is going to be able to bring enough resources across some pontoon bridges to challenge the US who is using Flanks, Pincer movements, holding forces, rivers protecting Flanks, protected supply lines. So let me guess are you guys going to do this all the while ISIS takes over the Deir Ezzor highway in a afternoon and it will take you a week to get it back.

Jesus

You are clueless regarding military matters. The Kurds are the fig leaves covering US SOF.

Travis Kelso

Yea well I’m not talking about Pontoon bridge D-day invasions. You are right about the Kurds being the fig leaves for the US SOF, but that doesn’t change the fact that the endgame will be what I describe.

Lone Wolf

@Trevis Kelso … end game is not gonna be around for years to come in Syria yet …

Lone Wolf

@Trevis Kelso … “US using Flanks, Pincer movements …” … WoW … I’m Bamboozled by your authentic Military jargons .. could you point me to where in your special research did you get all that information from … ? Ohhh … Sorry I didn’t know that you had a direct line to Pentagon … Have you thought that perhaps … YPG are over extended there too .. ? Whats gonna happen to YPG units there when Turkey starts massing troops at the YPG area with Turkey border … ? YPG would have no choice but to withdraw and head back to the border region to re-enforce their own areas first ..

Travis Kelso

Once again, this is pretty exhausting because I have to keep saying the same thing over and over again. The Turks aren’t going to do a god damn thing. Erdogan is all bluster and no bite. Once again, no STATE is going to challenge the US while our troops are there. You are basing all of your assumptions that the US will leave. They wont!

Lone Wolf

@Travis Kelso … LoL … I just remembered you … I caught you with your BLATANT LIE before .. You said ..” Nope not a CIA agent. The Congress is inept in the United States, it has been for a very long time. On top of that they have already funded bases for at least the next 10 years in Syria. Look at last defense budget. The big mistake Obama made was leaving.” … HAHAHAA … US funding for American bases in Syria for next Ten years … ??!!! WTF … you just make things up as you go along ..

Travis Kelso

You will see that I’m right. The US isn’t handing over anything to the Syrian Regime or the Russians. Period!

Lone Wolf

@traviskelso:disqus …. You still drinking your own Kool-Aid … no doubt supplied by your US… LoL … Just think for a minute … WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS THAT US IS HAPPY TO GO TO WAR IN SYRIA IF PAID BY SAUDIS AND GERMANY … ? SO US IS A PROSTITUTE OF SAUDI AND GERMANY …? you are INSANE …

Saudi are increasingly in a financial strife ‘cos of the cost of war in Yemen .. which they are losing badly … And on top of that … you would have us believe that Germany would be happy to pay for it … ? and you accuse others of being a SECTARIAN RACIST TROLLS … ? ???

Travis Kelso

Yes I am saying that. The US population isn’t paying attention to Syria. Assad is only in power due to chaos. Once the war is over who is going to feed all of those troops and militias? Who is going to rebuild Aleppo? The Russians? The Iranians? Follow the purse strings.

Lone Wolf

@Travis Kelso Qatar, China, Iran, Russia , India or the rest of the BRICS … then you might also get some EU countries .. like France and Germany who might show interest … Hell .. even little Englander will have no choice but come sniffing around in Syria in future for some deal … after the BREXIT … where else are they gonna go … ? Look at Iran .. Germany and France already in Iran looking for business opportunities ..

Lone Wolf

@traviskelso:disqus … You just can’t be taken seriously .. ‘cos you just stated that US will PROSTITUTE itself and go to war if Saudis paid for it … !!! Hell … even US apathetic public will wake up from their collective slumber for this… You have no idea how bad US public feels abt. the Saudis .. Congress and Senators won’t put up with that … President will be looking at impeachment for this … There will be no takers I’m afraid .. You are just lying left, right and centre … you REALLY ARE A TROLL … !!!

Lone Wolf

@traviskelso:disqus … a permanent US base in Syria … try not to drink too much of your own Kool-Aid … man… US congress will never allow it … they will just cut the funding for it … simple .. which planet did you say you were from … ? Or are you gonna tell me that you have a direct line to Pentagon or White House or are you suppose to be a CIA agent … ? YOU REALLY ARE A NUMB NUT job aren’t you … ?

Travis Kelso

Nope not a CIA agent. The Congress is inept in the United States, it has been for a very long time. On top of that they have already funded bases for at least the next 10 years in Syria. Look at last defense budget. The big mistake Obama made was leaving.

Lone Wolf

@Travis Kelso … OMG .. You sure are making things up as you go along … No such thing as budget allocation for bases in Syria … I’ll call you out .. YOU ARE JUST PLAIN LYING ..

Bill Wilson

LOL! Assad has no real army! There are a few elite units but the rest are private militias that could care less about Assad and poor quality government battalions. On the other hand, the Kurds are highly motivated and receive better training from the coalition forces. Russian military training sucks! Look at all their former clients who got their asses whipped by the IDF and rag-tag rebel groups.

zman

The US will be as successful in Syria as it was in Vietnam and Afghanistan. How much money did Vietnam have, compared to the rich US? Who won that and who cut and ran? Look at the great shape they left Iraq. Not to mention all the fantastic work they did in Syria for how many years before Russia came and showed what a real offensive against ISIS looked like. The US has how many money men and mercenaries brought in to finish Assad and they’ve failed miserably. The only thing the US forces excel at is slaughtering unarmed civilians and destroying civilian infrastructure, both of which are war crimes.. The only real question is how long will it take for the Kurds to realize that they’ve been fucked by the US…again. This is not Grenada and they aren’t fighting a very small Cuban contingent. You talk about facts and all you’ve done is spout the same old hasbara BS. Everyone here knows you’re full of BS. Israels days are numbered, that’s why they’ve begged the US to build a permanent base there. They’re hoping that an attack on them will finally get the US involved in fighting more battles for them. Truly pathetic chicken shits. Iran has no fear of the backstabbing liars and neither does Hezbollah. Now tell all of us how badly Israel beat Hezbollah in 2006…we need a good laugh. The US and Israel MUST be getting desperate to start unleashing propaganda whores like you onto the web.

Travis Kelso

No just a American who pays attention and thinks strategically. Oh and how is Israel fucked? You mean the fact that pre-2011 you had a united Syria and Arab world against Israel and America. 2017 you have Israel part 2 now stationed in northern Iraq, Syria and soon Iran, turkey will be the last to fall. So not desperate looks like we are doing a lot of winning. That stone in Damascus and Aleppo destroyed by Putin and Assad, isn’t going to rebuild itself.

zman

It’s chumps like you that give Americans a bad name. All you do is spout the company line and expect people to swallow your crap while waiting for your paycheck. Forget it …FAIL.

Travis Kelso

Company line? Please. You guys never get challenged on here. This is a propaganda site for weaklings. You get challenged and you guys turn into snowflakes. Tell me my assessment is wrong? How can 1. Russia pay for reconstruction? 2. How does Assad pay for reconstruction? How is Assad have a better position in a world no longer dominated by chaos? The people with the money and the military who are they supporting? I’m here to challenge the fools who think the Russian coalition are going to win this. Now Zman I will cut you some slack you seem more like a nihilist who thinks everything and all things are bad.

zman

How the fuck would you know what the people here are like? This the first time I ever saw you and I’ve been coming here for over a year now. I just looked at your profile and see that you are a totally new entity at Disqus. How strange, it’s like you were born today, yet you’ve been here before and have no other posts anywhere on any site with Disqus? Right. There is nothing I hate more than a traitor to not only my country, the US, but humanity. You’re disgusting and please do other Americans a favor, please? Don’t tell anyone you’re an American…our rep around the world is shit as it is…and it’s people like you that accomplished that little feat. Thanks A-hole.

Travis Kelso

Just signed up today, I’m not denying that. Honestly I live in Texas and have 4 kids and a great job. I majored in political science in school but didn’t actually do that for a job. So I’ve enjoyed watching the bipolar world we live in and this unstable time has been interesting to watch from a place of safety. I look at a lot of sites but now I feel like posting. I will be on hear more often if you guys can have a debate instead of cry. So that depends on you since it seems i’m getting under your skin since you checking out my profile.

zman

I was just trying to confirm that you are indeed a troll. Success. Hint: Next time make your profile private. Oh, damn, that’s a give away too. You have to study better. You say way too many things that are simply not true for you to be real. Nobody I know is this badly informed, plus your attempts at redirection are pitiful at best. So, which gov installation are you at in Texas? Sorry to out you. NOT

Travis Kelso

So your saying me only being on here for one day makes me a troll? Do I have to be on here for months or years to come up with your wisdom to not be considered a paid troll? I just think its cool you think I’m paid to be as you say “uninformed”, what does that make you then?

dutchnational

You have ran afoul of the nest of ass-adophyle commenters here. All opposing views to their rather sectarian and racist opinions are replied to with fake facts, rantings, namecalling.

They are trolls themselves and so out of reach of reality that sometimes taking them on is amusing. I do not fully agree with you on everything, but keep up the great work.

One advice as a dutchnational to a proud Texan : do start protecting your people by protecting your coastline better. We neglected that for a time because of depression, war and it cost us almost 2.000 drowned in 1953. So wake up, pay some more taxes and protect yourself.

Travis Kelso

I had this discussion with a cousin of mine who lost his house in Houston during Harvey. Was talking to him about the Dutch levy system. It do think many communities in the world will have to do that over the next 100 years. Now in fairness to Houston they got 52 inches of rain in 3 days. That would’ve flooded MT Everest.

Bill Wilson

Russia did nothing against ISIS for the longest time since Deash wasn’t a immediate threat like the other extremist groups in Western Syria, The Kurds and coalition forces destroyed ISIS in Syria before the Sissy Arab Army had the strength in numbers to start retaking control of captured territory and keeping it. The shitty arab army still has a hard time fighting off ISIS.

Lone Wolf

@disqus_f55cjQz1an:disqus What utter nonsense are you spewing about …KURDS never attacked ISIS .. they just defended their own areas from ISIS .. whenever they were being attacked .. plenty of times … before; they let ISIS pass through their front yard on their way to Palmyra … never did US even bombed ISIS convey when they were riding across the desert to attack SAA… This year .. SAA has fought more battles with ISIS than YPG … and US bombing combines … SAA has literally swallowed up vast ISIS territories .. FUNNY HOW US HAS NOT EVEN ONCE BOMBED THEIR OLD NEMESIS … ALQAEDA IN SYRIA .. ALNUSRA FRONT….!!!

Rodger

But they won’t be gone, Israel can do nothing against Iran having access to Syrian ports, the gulf states are having issues back home (why they made the dumb move on Qatar) and Russia has more money than the US because the US only has debts.

Travis Kelso

I’ve heard all of this talk before, this has gone banner for the Israelis, they got to avoid the war. Not only that they got one of their Proxies the kurds to have a foothold in the eastern part of the country. Looks like they will be a lot stronger position when the real war comes. You guys just don’t see it.

VeeNarian (Yerevan)

Sadly, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Syria and allies will have to deal with the Kurds while the US/EU/NATO/GCC/Israel gang light the blue torch paper and wait for the fireworks. The Kurds are being used and abused. The US/EU/NATO/GCC/Israel sponsors will not come to the rescue of Kurdistan. Why will they risk their own comfortable lives???

Serious Dude

However, if it wasn’t for SDF then ISIS would capture 80% of Syria.

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

If it wasn’t American interventionist adventures in the Middle East on behalf of Israel, there would be no ISIS. SDF needed foreign PKK militias and US air support to “win” at Ayn al-Arab. SDF also let ISIS grind down SAA at Hasakah, so fck SDF.

Serious Dude

Syrian civil war is a proxy fight between Iran and Saudi Arabia. If Israel wanted to invade Syria it would do it because the Israeli army is much stronger than the Syrian one. At Kobane, SDF was half the size of ISIS and they still defeated it. After all, without Russia, Assad would be in an extremely difficult position.

RichardD

Your Iran Saudi proxy war nonsense is a distraction from the Jew world order regime change operation that is the real cause of the war.

The Syrian government coalition is much stronger than Israel. Not only don’t they dare invade. Syrian air space has been closed to their fighter planes. Which is why they attack from outside of it.

dutchnational

Right.

That is why Syria is occupying large parts of Israel.

Oh, wait, Syria is occupying nothing. On the other hand…….

RichardD

You’re losing it, you’re comments are increasingly confused stupidity devoid of reason or rationality.

dutchnational

So you are saying Syria is occupying parts of Israel ? Because it is so much stronger?

What is your rationality? Ignoring reality? That is a mental disorder.

RichardD

I’m saying that your comments, including his one, don’t make sense.

dutchnational

You are claiming that Syrian government coalition is so much stronger then Israel.

If that is correct, it should be Syria occupying parts of Israel, instead of Israel governing former parts of Syria.

So reality is opposed to your claim. Denying reality is a mental disorder.

RichardD

You’re the one making nonsensical comments obfuscating the topics not me.

The Jew baby rapers had trouble with Hezbollah in Lebanon. They wouldn’t stand a chance in Syria against the Syrian government coalition.

dutchnational

Show me Israelis raping babies, please, pretty please……

This is like UK claiming in WWI germans raping nuns.

Stupid propaganda and only those even more stupid believe it.

J_O_K_E bonehead.

dutchnational

Yes, funny, right?

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

They are going the legal route which seems Israel has no concept of the law even violates 34 resolutions on a daily basis, they think the US,UK and France along with Germany will always be there. That’s where you are sadly mistaken and will see how they will become weak and ineffectual powers in the future.

Deo Cass

There is no civil war in Syria. It is a foreign Western/Zionist colonial imperialist aggression and invasion against a sovereign country with their Kurdish slaves and thieves serving as a cover. Iran came into the picture only in 2015 to help the legitimate Syrian government fight against terrorism. The so called SDF and ISIS or better USIS (US-ISrael) are the same terror force fighting gainst the Syrian government and the Syrian people to steal their natiral resources and land to create another Zionist Israeli colony and military bases under the guise of an artificial region called Rojava in a US/Zionist colonial territory conveniently called Kurdistan. ISIS are the front line shock troopers or ‘storm troopers’ of the US/Israeli/SDF/YPG/ISIS coalition.

Serious Dude

You have me confused. Is it Jews, Kurds or Americans? Who is the criminal? lol Yeah that coalition worked well in Kobane right?

dutchnational

He does not know. Ignore him.

zman

You just named the worst three.

Mikronos

Great phraseology.

swirlydragon

How much does Mossad/CIA pay you for all this propaganda?

Serious Dude

Nothing.

swirlydragon

So you do their work for free? That’s a bit disappointing.

Serious Dude

If you are a troll then you write stupid things like that.

swirlydragon

You’re one to talk

Serious Dude

You make no sense.

Bob

At Kobane there was no SDF – it was the YPG. SDF is merely a re-branded YPG – on advice of US military, so that the US can use them as proxy force without incurring a political backlash from their NATO ally Turkey, who list both PKK and YPG as terrorist organizations.

Serious Dude

PKK and YPG are not the same. You are correct though. Turkey is arrogant.

dutchnational

Wrong, the alliance was already there, in proto form, under the name of Euphrates Vulcano, started autumm 2014 and started in Kobane.

Bob

‘In proto form…’ Or, how to a draw a long bow.

zman

You mean the way they (Israel) destroyed Hezbollah in Lebanon in 2006. Get real.

Solomon Krupacek

of course. look at losses. IL 130 men, hezbollah >2 000, over 500 from the best core. such big defeat, that from that time hezbollah is little mouse and does not attack IL every week.

Serious Dude

You lost. Your problem.

Solomon Krupacek

at kobani kurd won only with help of wester coalition. otherwise they would be wiped out. until that battle kurds ran before isis as rabbits befor fox.

Serious Dude

Because they weren’t prepared.

Solomon Krupacek

kurds? the were prepared. but not enough power. and also now without yanks would be lost everything.

Serious Dude

And those trolls believe that US supports ISIS.

Rob

Russia led coalition fighting against America led coalition.

Russia led coalition consists of Syrian army, Iraqi army, Russian army, Iranian army, Lebanies army, Palestinian army Afghanistan army, Pakistan army

America led coalition consists of US army NATO army ISIS DAESH army Israel army SDF YPG, PKK etc army FSA army Al-Qaeda army

America led qualition is full of global terrorist organizations. LOL.

dutchnational

Do not forget France, UK, the Netherlands, Belgium etc etc.

Mikronos

Assholes all – doing their NATO duty – making trouble for Uncle Sammy to ‘help’ with.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

These are all weak nations and all have their crosses to bear in committing and aiding genocide since the 90’s. The Joke that is the UK said they conducted 1500 airstrikes since they have been in the Middle east, what laugh of a contribution. Then we can look at the largely ineffectual support offered by the others even France’s contribution is negligible , Belgium and Netherlands may as well be farting on tree stumps for all their contribution.

NATO has been great at supporting and training the terrorists and Killing civilians so that right there negates anything they ever did.

Solomon Krupacek

alltogether are stronger then russia.

Serious Dude

Except that Iraqis are with US, Iranians are with their own and Palestinians and Pakistanis love Al-Qaeda. Ah and the ISIS/FSA/HTS like to butcher Kurds.

Bob

No, wrong. Iraq is nominally with US – but in reality the powerful Iraqi PMU Shia militia and US are at complete geo-political loggerheads, and US previously attacked and attempted to halt PMU units with US warplanes as PMU advanced toward Syrian border earlier this year. Iranians are certainly not on their own – they are the core Syrian state ally – and even Afghan Shia are recruited into the Iranian expeditionary forces in Syria. Whilst the Palestinian diaspora refugees are in no way a singular entity – in Syria the Palestinian Al-Quds militia are Syrian state aligned and were a key force in defeating Al-Nusra militants (ie Al Queada) in the northern districts immediately surrounding east Aleppo in 2016.

Serious Dude

PMU are paramilitaries. I am talking about the legal Iraqi government. Iran wants to do its Shia sectarian interests in Syria. And many Palestinians support terrorism, both the socialist and the islamist.

Mikronos

The Iraqis are with the US? We’ll see how long that lasts. The only reason the USA is back is becuse of ISIS ( the selling point for a nation glad to have pulled out.) But that was the Pentagon’s plan all along. Like Syria and the war the Congress wouldn’t give to Obama.

zman

The Iraqis are only with the US because of the traitors in their midsts. They are getting tired of the two-faced US and their double-dealing backstabbing. It won’t be long before they get serious about getting the US out permanently.

Rob

You are still dreaming.

Ronald

@serious_dude:disqus Iraq has been occupied by the US since 2003 , remember G. Bush , Iran and Lebanon are allied with Syria . Palestinians of Gaza support Hamas , but not the Palestinians of the West Bank Al Qaeda ( HTS new name ), ISIS ,and FSA are all Wahhabi jihadists , and love to kill Kurds , Christians , Shia , Druze and Sunni , they are taqfiri remember .

Serious Dude

Now post-Saddam Iraq is with the US. Iran is Shia and Syria and Lebanon are secular. Doesn’t matter, all Palestinian organizations like terrorism.

Rob

Iraqis are not with america and Israel. In Iraq shia and sunny both army fighting against US backed terrorists. America have mentioned this a couple of times on their MSM.

Tomorrow you will claim that Syrian nation is with america and Israel. Only terrorists and proxies alqaeda, Isis, sdf, ypg pkk are in america coalition. I cannot change your opinion but you can dream.

Serious Dude

Shia and sunni militants. I am talking about the Iraqi government. US has killed many thousands of ISIS fighters through airstrikes helping the Iraqi government. However, Iraqi government is against Israel. Just like Saudi Arabia supports US and is against Israel. ISIS and Al-Qaeda are against US. The only state they support is Qatar. PKK is not the same with SDF or Peshmerga. In my opinion if Iran, Saudi Arabia and North Korea are defeated then the world will be a better place.

Rob

I think if Zio America is defeated then there in the whole world durable peace, stability, development and prosperity of human is possible. Even our beautiful world environment will become clean.

Serious Dude

I don’t know. Maybe the US should be given to the Indians.

Travis Kelso

So before 2011, Syria was a whole country with Iranian and Russian influence. Now the country is bombed out and the Americans and Kurds have seized half of the country and all of the resources. Doesn’t sound like Russia and Iran are winning much. Enjoy dealing with Israel part 2 boxing you out.

Jesus

The Kurdish army is an irrelevant force compared to SAA and Hezbollah, they can be swept form their existing positions to northern Syria.

Travis Kelso

Not without a airforce, like I said if US troops are stationed there Rus,iran, saa wouldn’t dare try. US could ground them out in a afternoon. That is a fact.

Jesus

US could ground them in an afternoon? Prove that to me from a military standpoint, instead of BS. Persian gulf and eastern Mediterranean Sea would be death traps for the US navy. How many carriers is US willing to loose in defending the Kurds?

Travis Kelso

You obviously don’t understand the power of the US military. Its quite simple the United States would take out of of the Syrian and Russian air defenses first from 1,000 of miles away. You don’t have anything in the planet that get through the air defense of a US carrier battle group 1,000 miles off shore. The Russians are a regional power. They only have surface ship and sub coverage in the MED. Putin want’s stability not more chaos which the Chaos is the only thing keeping assad in power.

zman

You are so fool of shit. You really believe that a carrier task force could deal with a missile swarm of 1000? Like China said…Carriers are a floating target waiting to be sunk.

Travis Kelso

rhetoric, that is all you have. Than tell me ZMAN since your so mad I’m on here. Why is China rushing to buy them? Why is China trying to build them? Not quite sure what a missile swarm of 1000 is but I know what SPY radar is. I know what SM2 air defense missile are. I have a recollection of CWIS machine guns on all small boy ships, Link technology that have constant battlfield area radar control. Please tell me what a missile swarm of 1000 will do?

Solomon Krupacek

oh wait, jesus will come with s-400, pantsir, onyx, mig-35, suh-35 :)))

Travis Kelso

Yes oh and Russia and Syria have all of their resources in 1 place. That makes for a winning battle strategy against the United States.

PZIVJ

And what about all the Tomahawks that went missing during the Shayrat attack?

Travis Kelso

Let me guess you learned that reading these blogs on this website?

dutchnational

He did.

Solomon Krupacek

the russian mod never told this

Lone Wolf

Gosh … those missiles can be shot down by S400 and S300 … how many tomahawk did actually make it to their target last time and hit it … ? AND have u ever heard of ZIRCON anti ship missile…. ?

Travis Kelso

What I do know is that Russia has all of its assets in 1 place in the area. Syria. The US has it all over the area. Their isn’t 1 war mind among any of you trolls.

Lone Wolf

@Travis Kelso … me a Troll … ? hahaaha … what does that make you … ? Ohh … i get it, you must be from below … : http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/students-offered-grants-if-they-tweet-pro-israeli-propaganda-8760142.html

http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2013/08/14/israel-pay-students-propaganda_n_3755782.html

Lone Wolf

US troops will never be stationed there … American generals already know that they have lost it in Syria …. President Trump will never allow it and thats only because he knows that American people will not allow it … Why do you think US has been so inept in Syria in all these years … Yes … US can rout out the SAA and its allies in an afternoon.. but only with tactical Nukes … otherwise they would still need months of advance preparation and the drum rolls from FOX news .. before their chance of success increases much in their favour …

But alas … it seems US seems to be preoccupied with that FATBOY from DPR Korea .. so I hardly think that US would divert all their aircraft carriers to the Syria coastline in Mediterranean sea ..

zman

Dude, give it up. This is your worst post yet. It is so full of lies and BS I could barely stand to read it. It was your bed partner the US who was in Syria in 2011 and later supposedly fighting ISIS and they only got stronger. Remember the US claim of killing 100,000 ISIS? Russia and Iran didn’t intercede until 2015. What color is the sky on your planet?

Travis Kelso

I’m not rejecting the argument this wasn’t a Israeli, CIA plot, thats not what I’m arguing, I include ISIS in that assessment too. What i’m arguing if you think Russia, SAA and Iran comes out stronger in all of this.

zman

Damn dude, they already are. If you’re not just stupid, then you’re woefully misinformed. Personally, I think you’re just here to get a paycheck. None of your arguments hold water at all and you know it. It’s pretty pathetic that someone has to take a job as sorry as this to make ends meet…you’re sound like a hasbara/CIA disinfo/propaganda drone. We can all see how you try to twist shit. This job is not for you, you can’t even argue some of your ‘facts’, you change subjects and start going on about crap that isn’t even being discussed. Dude, get a REAL JOB and contribute to society instead of doing a soul killing gig like this, contributing nothing and bringing you bad karma.

Travis Kelso

You have no arguments to prove me wrong. All you have is insults. You show it here. Try having a debate, if you don’t want to debate, than go to a safe space. Come up with a argument of a different outcome from what I’ve tried to debate? Tell me how the endgame will be different than what I’ve discussed? I don’t want to recruit you. I’m trying to have a foreign policy debate, not have a circle jerk on assad.

Solomon Krupacek

welcome, bro! you have intelligence, zman is only z-level, unintelligent beiing. ;)

Travis Kelso

Solomon, do you have a different take on the outcome I’ve laid out?

Solomon Krupacek

no. i understood cleraly what you wrote. and agree with this. i am on side of assad, but i am realistic. and the russians also. therefore they dont push on kurds. i am not happy, that syria will be splitted (90%), but this war won the americans.

Travis Kelso

I think it was won once it started. The US controls the purse strings and that is even more true now that the gulf states are in a all out push to find a winning side against Iran. Russia’s mistake was they didn’t pick the Kurds first. That and Russia doesn’t have the financial global influence to win the peace. Somebody has to pay to rebuild and the west isn’t going to give the money to Assad. This Kurdish outcome would’ve never occurred if it wasn’t for ISIS and when Turkey and Arabs went to the extremists. They became the only game in town. This worked out banner for American influence. If I would’ve told you 7 years ago the United States controlled all of the oil in eastern Syria with a secular Kurdish group. You would’ve thought they would’ve invaded with a million men.

PZIVJ

But who is the victor in this conflict? Europe to become destabilized. Isreal will have more Shia on their northern border. Divide and conquer, how is this working out in the long term!

Travis Kelso

Israel has always had a united Syria and Hezbollah in its back door. This isn’t a new development. The new development is now Assad is king of a pile of rubble with no one to pay for the rebuild. With Kurdish control in a large chunk of the middle eastern energy reserves and only smaller cities to rebuild they will be more successful. I think that this will ultimately result in regime change in Iran over time. They are the big losers hear along with Iraq. Europe can no longer finance their lifestyles on the backs of American taxpayers for their defense. I’m not 100% sure where they are going.

dutchnational

Europe is going to the future in its own way. Western, democratic, seeking the best way to build larger cohesion.

Some more searching to do, but we will get there.

We are also unsure. Unsure about the large divisions within the US. Democrates vs Republican, racial tensions, a President tweeting erratically, now this way, then that way. Rationality is sometimes lost over there to our mind of many Europeans.

Lone Wolf

YPG are currently in possession of large areas of oil fields … in the Dier ez Zor region … Those areas are still being contested … YPG are too far stretched out from their own territories to hang on to those oil fields …All you need is for turkey to threaten YPG from their border … then YPG would have no choice but to withdraw to re-enforce their own areas from Turkish Military… SAA will not allow those oil fields to be taken and used by YPG .. they will fight for it … SAA and its allies are just too motivated to just let it go …

US .. will try and bomb them .. but only minimally ..US own public will not allow them to launch another air campaign over the skies of Syria .. US had perfect opportunity to do that with Clintons “No fly zone” idea .. and look what happened to her … As things stand look at what is happening to Kurds in Northern Iraq … They are literally getting blocked from all the surrounding countries…. Now .. Iran and Iraq have just announced that they will be holding joint Military exercise … This is the worse nightmare that the US and Israel were hoping to avoid …

You think this will “lead to regime change in Iran” … really …..? You are just talking shit … !!! Why would there be a regime change in Iran … ? Its even stronger now then ever before .. Thanks to US ! Iran and Iraq are closely intertwined together now with Syria and has very close co-operation with Turkey and Qatar … and in future with … Yemen….

If anything else .. its the Saudis who are in real trouble … their economy is dire ‘cos they are spending to much money in the failed enterprise called ‘Yemen’ and are truly caught in the quagmire there with no plan to extricate themselves .. even though privately crown prince MBS … is said to be wanting out from YEMEN … Their young crown prince is making a real mess in his country and has failed to reign in their massive spending of their Petro dollar ….

Lone Wolf

You are just assuming that all the Western country will just follow US blindly and not invest in Syria once the war is settled… you have not provided any evidence of any WESTERN countries resolutely declaring that they will not invest in Syria apart from US and Little Englander ….. Please note that we are talking about investment and not providing free money to Syria to rebuild their country … investment implying … they getting their money back with significant interest and also influence in that country…. Qatar, Russia, China and other BRIC countries will more than step in and cover the vacuum … then countries like France and Germany will have to rethink and start looking for opportunities there …. As things stand … only US and little Englander would not look for any opportunities there … but after BREXIT … even Little Englander may have to swallow there pride and have a second look …

zman

Yeah, you two are clearly on the same page.LOL

Solomon Krupacek

sure. we read normal political and military journals. and i was in militay, so i am sure better in this field then you or your commander, admiralissimus jesus.

Lone Wolf

You may have served in the Military … but I failed to see how suddenly your reading of the Geo-politics of Proxy war in Syria would be more definitive then any one of the commentator here … Not like you got a direct line to the US Defence Secretary or Israel Mossad … leave your medals in your drawers .. you are only supposed to wear it on parade …LOL…. !!!

Solomon Krupacek

false comment, retard :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Solomon Krupacek

they are not.

Solomon Krupacek

you can write us, whis sentence was false???

zman

I realize you have to help out your comrade, but start with ” Doesn’t sound like Russia and Iran are winning much.” Since he’s comparing pre-invaded Syria to todays warred upon Syria…it’s still alive and kicking and hasn’t had to submit willingly to Zionist control like western states have. I’d say that was a pretty good prize. The propaganda part of his crap is that he doesn’t mention that it is the US that is willfully destroying as much civilian infrastructure, along with the civilians, as they can, as they did in Iraq and Libya. The other part is that the Kurds and Americans have seized half the country and all the resources. On what map? BS. Just because you and dutchnational and this rube blather this crappola doesn’t make it believable. Not to mention that the fat lady has yet to sing. If one has to go by performance in the last two years, the US/Kurds haven’t a chance without some way, some how calling in NATO in en masse. Hell, if Russia and Syria and even Iran, stood back and watched, Turkey would take out the Kurds in fairly short order. The Kurds, even with US help could not stand up to a full on Turkish Army attack. It looks as though this may occur at some point soon, which will trigger a larger conflict, exactly what the Zionist have been after…but that doesn’t mean they will get their way. They’ve been pretty pathetic lately, having to rely on treachery of every kind to even survive. The Kurds, for their foolishness in once again partnering with the US, will suffer just as badly, if not much worse, than the last time they trusted them. They had a small area of Syria, but were left alone and better off than those in Iraq…now they’ve bit the hand that treated them good. The US/Israel/KSA are not facing Russia/Iran of the 80s-90s. They are now faced with victims with much better and in a lot of areas, superior weaponry/defenses and this is not even bringing China into the equation. If one does not believe the purported events with the Donald Cook in the Black Sea, then merely look at the 59 wasted cruise missiles. Israel may cease to exist sooner than later. Good things come to those who wait.

Solomon Krupacek

huh, so long answer … later, bro :)

i have a beautiful gif with tiger. unfortunately bigger file than 5 MB :(

Travis Kelso

Your willing to engage Soloman, but not me. You still aren’t answering any of my questions. You just throw out Rhetoric and bull. Do the Kurds control all the main water dams on the Euphrates? Are the Kurds going to seize all of the oil fields on the eastern bank? Oh and Russia in the 80’s was a superpower by the way. Still please answer how the end game is going to be any different than what I’m saying? Assad is the king of rubble with no one to flout the rebuild costs. Its that simple

Ronald

@traviskelso:disqus So you are proud of that . Not my kind of American .

Lone Wolf

@traviskelso:disqus … its not half of the country … just one third .. once SAA have liberated all the rest of the country from the Terrorist .. then they will have more manpower and heavy equipment to face the YPG …. Have you not notice Turkey and Russia and Iran and Syria getting into dialogue… ? what do you think those dialogues are about … ? Look at what is happening in Northern Iraq … un-precedent co-operations betw. Iran, Iraq, Turkey etc … ‘cos of that referendum … US may bomb some PMF units or SAA units here and there but really… they are just there to cause mischief… they have no resolve nor any coherent plan there at all ..

Travis Kelso

This is the best one yet. So your saying a State Sponsor like Turkey, Iran or Russia is going to openly attach a US proxy while our troops are working with them? Let me lay it down for you. ISIS (not a state), Taliban (not a state). Iran, Russia and Turkey will just continue to conduct war games and spin around on borders measuring their dicks.

Lone Wolf

Yes … I am saying that exactly … just because US is sponsoring YPG … doesn’t mean Turkey will not look after its security interest and that goes for Iraq and Syria too .. For Turkey … They see it as an existential threat to their Nation … US has never said They will back Kurds independence … Let me lay it down for you … US already knows that they have lost it in Syria … Iran has just about got its land corridor to Syria to Iraq to Lebanon .. there is nothing US can do .. even if Syria is broken up .. land corridor will still exist …. You forget … time is on the Syria govt. side … US senator John McCain is dying … there is no one in the US senate nor congress advocating for regime change nor putting boots on the ground in Syria .. nor any overt support for YPG … You need to calm down and stop drinking so much of that made in USA Kool-Aid … !!!

Solomon Krupacek

one more defected guy. you are doubled by barking of dogs?!

afghani army, paki army iranian army does not fight against isis

in russian coolaition belong only syria, iran (NOT ARMY? ONLY Revolution Guards!!!), hezbollah.

Lebanon, iraq afghanistan, pakistan belong to us lead international coalition ( ´65 countries!)

Deo Cass

SDF/ISIS/FSA they are all the same. SDF are not fighting against ISIS. Israel/US/SDF/ISIS coalition are fighting the Syrian government forces.

Serious Dude

You are wrong. SDF, ISIS, FSA and Israel are different forces, having the same enemy for different reasons. There is no such thing as that coalition, except in the minds of internet trolls.

RichardD

Exactly, it’s all Hegelian theater.

dutchnational

Sssst. While true, commenters here would not like to hear that.

Truth hurts, you know.

I don’t understand what’s wrong for these trolls. Maybe their parents didn’t love them much?

Nobody loves them except for “partisangirl”.

I happen to like that partisan girl. She is cool.

dutchnational

A bit too partisan for me. A good laugh though and she looks nice too.

Serious Dude

Those lips. lol

Mikronos

PG is going to be famous after all this.

Mikronos

Doidn’t theryalreaDy have 80 percent of Syria? But good for SDF they have done well. They are far better for Syria than than the ‘coalition forces, the Turks or their ‘freedumb fighters’. Let’s wait and see what happens with Syrian ‘kurdistan’. Did anybody notice that Assad said nothing about their referendum last week? He did nothing too. Because Syrian Kurds may be related to the Iraqi Kurds, but they know on which side their bread is buttered.

RichardD

The SDF is part of the Jew world order regime change project. When they stopped cooperating with the government they became a problem.

Jesus

What planet have you come from? ISIS is not fighting SDF, SDF and ISIS are American proxies.

Serious Dude

You are deluded. ISIS want to kill every SDF and sell their women to slavery.

Lone Wolf

@Serious Dude … YPG never had any issues with ISIS and for many years, they let ISIS and other terrorist groups pas through their areas without any hindrance…. its only recently when ISIS started getting greedy and attacking YPG positions..(like Kobane) .. then they attacked back … look at Deir Ez-Zor .. their own YPG publication have announced that .30 of the ISIS members have defected to YPG .. its been the SAA who have been battling both ISIS and Al Nusra and other moderate head choppers called FSA … US coalition claims to have been bombing ISIS all these years … but conveniently … they neglected to tell their public that they have not bombed a single time their old nemesis Al Qaeda in Syria … Its only when the Russians started bombing all the terror groups and ISIS … the ISIS territory have been reduced significantly … Your assertion that somehow it was SDF who fought the ISIS primarily is just plain false and just YPG propaganda….

Serious Dude

YPG started fighting ISIS when they were prepared. Not to mention that some ISIS fighters from Lebanon defected to ISIS. Al-Qaeda will be bombed after ISIS is done. YPG is not the only force that fought ISIS but it was the most effective.

dutchnational

And do not forget all those tribal fighters defecting from SAA in southern Raqqah that now have joined the fight for DeZ countryside.

Soon they will be standing in the control rooms of the Omar fields.

SDF will die to protect the liberated areas against all comers, incl, if they have to, the SAA.

Having said that, sometimes it is wiser to talk before shooting, something most of the commenters do not seem to realise.

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

I do not pity those who willingly become cannon fodder for secessionists. Kurds took more than what is theirs and the backlash to that is to be expected.

dutchnational

Problem is in Syria, it seems you have to take your rights, any rights, otherwise you will get nothing, which is what the Kurds had before : nothing. Not even passports.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Why does a hack like you go on a non sequitur like you always do about passports we discussed this already so you are truly lame. There are 1.2 million Syrian Kurds in Germany why so many of the Syrian Kurds are afraid of this minority group of Kurds separatists can you explain to me this issue?

Thinking might is right happens to be the most stupid thought ever produced by mankind. Then if the Separatist Kurds in Syria are expelled by force that would be well within the rights of the govt even by your own admission.

zman

He does this crap because he has no real points to make. ..just redirection and obfuscation. He learned his lessons well…even though he fails miserably..like the rest of the bought and paid for propagandists. What they don’t want to talk about is how their propaganda is not only not working, but is counter-productive for his masters. But then, they think they’re talking to captive MSM American audiences…the only ones that will swallow their lies.

dutchnational

I know I am not talking to MSM audiences but to (mostly) ranting, namecalling, overopiniated sectarian racists, not used to utilising facts and having problems distinguishing between facts and opinions.

Your comment did not contain one fact, only opinions, and fully lies within my discription of most of the commenters here.

It amuses me though to let some light of reason and other opinions shine on this hub of the dark.

zman

My comment was not intended to prove any point to you. My comment was directed to Terra, expounding on your tactics. Fortunately, your comments rarely mean anything to anyone. Thank god you’ve always taken the high road and never did any name calling. Right. Your whole comment basically described yourself. When it comes to facts, you’re not acquainted with them at all. Why would anyone really want to waste time tearing them down, when they know it’s only part of your agenda? Hence, my reply to Terra. The only darkness here are you and yours, dissing Russia, Syria and Iran and their opposing the western criminals and the land grabbing Kurds. The rest of us see the light at the end of the tunnel, with Syria free of terrorists and backstabbers.

dutchnational

Well, I can refer you to a whole bunch of reports on this by all agencies of the world, but why bother. First you will not read them. Second you will deny them as fake, fake institutions and three you do not believe anything I say anyhow.

That is ok, I feel the same towards your opinions.

Let is just agree on the undisputed fact that daddy Assad took away, in 1961, the existing papers, passports and nationality of, then, 120k Syrian kurds, leaving them stateless and thereafter banned from education, jobs, buying houses etc.

In 2011 sonny Assad promised to return their rights, gave a few (6k) some papers and went on to more important matters. It is one of the many things why kurds “love” the Assads.

As for your question about Germany, unanswerable to me as there are no 1.2 million Syrian kurds in Germany and if you want to know their opinions as far as there are any, why not ask them? They can speak for themselves. If there are, you can ask them in kurdish, arabic or even, likely, german.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Many actually had their passports reinstated after they registered like everyone else with the Syrian Govt by Hafez which he had issued 150,000 passports now the references you will cite do not even acknowledge this since only 20,000 had asked that they be reinstated. Keep your falsehoods to yourself and not updated sources out of this as none had updated anything called lazy journos who can’t be bothered to do their homework.

The numbers are correct about the amount of Syrian Kurds in Germany don’t think they will move back when they ran from the PKK in the first place. Many Kurds have no love for these terrorists as they are not much different than Al Qaeda, just as many Kurds are want to join more money from them in US dollars.

Lone Wolf

@dutchnational:disqus … why do you presume to be speaking for Syrian Kurds … ? Are you a Syrian Kurd …?

Xanatos

Let’s see the sdf try to sell that oil. Let’s see them try to defend it.

They will learn the error of their greed.

Jens Holm

You assume SDF`s are stupid like little childdren being like that Yourself. This is not about any oilfields. its about ISIS use them as defence because they are full of cover and can be made onto fortifications.

You are into a sick manipulative world of the worst kind filled with all kind of rubbish against each other.

Only 14 days ago SDF was blamed not to help SAA. When they came they were stopped by SAA bombarments. When they in stead go east to take land from ISIS there, they are blamed steeling oil.

So f… You.

The send oil by ballon, faster internet or barrels down the river ????

neutrinox

You believe that yellow trail as reality? SDF achievement? “like little childdren being like that Yourself”

Jens Holm

Yes, I believe its a good solution compared to other. But possible. All seemes to think they will be winners by the killing is going on. So we will see.

I just kind of wrote those people are made stupid by propaganda and more then its even possible. Even if they are enemies, it very important to defeat an enemy to its weak and strong sides.

That seemes to be out of order for some here.

RTA (Bob or Al)

Is you name Chuck the 3rd Junior ?

Idiot.

Rune Paulsen

Sothfront.org comes across as a one-sided propaganda-tool and echo-chamber for Russian MOD. Sad ! http://aktivnyye.com/t/20160120-southfront.html

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

There is nothing stopping you from creating fresh troll accounts and shilling here, Zionazi.

dutchnational

Why would he want to imitate you?

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

You missed the parts of being “fresh” and “Zionazi.” Bad imitation, then.

dutchnational

Likely. It is very hard to imitate hardcore ass-adophyles. Takes a lot of effort and likely he does not consider it to be worth the effort.

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

It is harder for Israelis to not behave themselves in the Middle East and not become parasites on the US.

dutchnational

That is something you must take up with them. I propose you contact them and ask them. Better still, go to them and talk.

Gregory Louis

I guess you havent seen there reports on global conflicts and how they don’t even focus slightly on Russia but global affairs its sad to see a bot being paid to say these things about and Independent news organization, so what news group do you suggest we watch NBC,FOX,CNN,BBC…i dont understand…..

RamboDave

Hi Rune … how are things in that illegal West-bank settlement in that trailer of yours, on that hilltop? I looked at your link. This is pure Israeli disinformation. Now we all know that you Zionists land grabbers are really worried.

Ronald

And you do echo-chamber for Israel ??

swirlydragon

Get mad, yankee! Southfront is dope! They only speak the truth!

Attrition47

No, it’s even handed, it even uses the word “rumour” in its reports.

Vitex

Funny, never seen you before but you have total in-depth understanding of all the content here.

Greywolf

Any knows what happened with Al-Masdar news site? Its not working since morning.

Aguafiestas

Now is online.

Solomon Krupacek

These are Putin’s underpink agreements…..

Do you actually have any friends in real life ?

Solomon Krupacek

Solomon Krupacek

better, if you find one girl. i have famly, children. you are nothing. balloon n wind, without roots. for you: hate less, love more.

Alex

Haha, keep trying,lol.

RF has no interest in allowing Syria recover those fields. Syria will be more dependent on RF for oil. Another key component of this strategy is that it is almost guaranteed that regional powers will support this, as well as RF’s presence in the region, because the other option is Ayran.

Mikronos

Now why in the holy name of the minor deity beelzebub would Assad want to become dependent on Russian oil? He’s been running his economy off oil for decade and a half and his Daddy before that.

Bente Petersen

all USA cares about is oil !!! DISGUSTING !!!

dutchnational

Look at the comments of trolly Justin : only about oil and anal whatever. Indeed, disgusting.

swirlydragon

Your comments are the ones which are disgusting.

dutchnational

For trolls, sure.

swirlydragon

You call people who support Assad trolls or Assadophyles. You are no different than Hilary or Obama. I don’t care much about Israel tbh, but I have personally noticed that many Westerners are Anti-Assad due to following reasons:- 1. They love Israel (due to some reasons) and consider Syria’s mere existence a threat to Israel 2. They are SJW’s or are emotionally vulnerable so they hate Assad for killing Syrians (since the MSM feeds them these lies) 3. They support Western imperialism and consider their country’s actions against Syria a good step. 4. They support Kurdistan (due to some reasons) and consider Syria’s mere existence a threat to Kurdistan 5. They believe MSM lies somewhat

Now tell me, which one of these are you?

dutchnational

Well, I am very different from Hilary. I do not wear any dresses, ever. I am very different from Obama. I am neither black nor a former president of the US.

As for the rest, I am just me. Nobody else. A dutchnational, trying to think and be rational and national, proud of being Dutch, just because I am Dutch.

And who are you?

Serious Dude

For me it is 1,3,4.

swirlydragon

Well at least you are honest unlike your Netherland friend Dutch National. I don’t even feel like replying to him tbh Anyway, I understand why you are Anti-Assad now. Thnx for telling me the reason.

George King

It’s the oil, stupid!

Unraveling the riddle of the Kurds Iraqi pipe dream

Kurds compose 20% of a Turkish population of 75 million. As much as the Peshmerga have never tangled with Baghdad’s forces, Ankara has not invaded the KRG. The referendum, though, led Turkey’s President Erdogan to dramatically raise the stakes. “Our military is not (at the border) for nothing,” he has said. “We could arrive suddenly one night.”

This knock on the door brings us to the inevitable holy of holies: oil. As Erdogan stressed, “let’s see through which channels the northern Iraqi regional government will send its oil, or where it will sell it. We have the tap. The moment we close the tap, then it’s done.”

Erdogan certainly has done his math on how an independent KRG might possibly survive under threat from Ankara, with oil selling for less than $60 a barrel, and under the weight of its own military spending, corruption and incompetence.

Nawzad Adham, general director of the KRG’s Trade and Industry Ministry, rates business with Turkey and Iran at over US$10 billion a year. The KRG needs to import no less than 95% of its agricultural produce from Turkey and Iran. And, once again, the KRG totally depends on Ankara for exporting 550,000 barrels of oil a day.

http://thesaker.is/unravelling-the-riddle-of-the-kurds-iraqi-pipedream/

Deo Cass

The assessment of the reasons why ISIS are attacking the Syrian army of the Homs-Deir Ezzur axis are totally wrong. ISIS work in sync with their SDF allies and their aim is simply to keep the Syrian government troops busy on this front while the ISIS mutates into SDF on the Eastern banks of the Euphrates river and steals more land and resources from the Syrian people and government for their US/Zio/Nazi colinial imperialist masters.

Richard M

So Battle of Kobani and the last 3 years of Daesh-Kurd warfare didn’t happen? Battle of Raqqa is not real?

Deo Cass

What is shocking here is the lack of Russian air support. I have reliable information that only two Syrian aircraft are dealing with USIS on this front. What happened to the Russians? Have they conched inside their shell in terror after the US assassinated their leading Russian General and threatened them with more with the words, “We are following every movement you make on the Eastern banks of the Euphrayes river, so stay out of the way.”

Mikronos

Aren’t they targeting civilians? That’s what HR Watch Syria is saying … every day.

Skagos

This is hilarious. Almost everyone that is supporting SAA is cursing SDF. 3 years(was it 4?) ago i kept saying that the SDF/YPG you guys(talking about SAA supporters here) love so much is going to steal these entire lands, including the oil and gas fields, because they are just US puppets.

I was attacked so bad it was shocking. Because US did EXACTLY the same thing in Iraq. Well, i am really curious how Assad is going to rebuild the country without those oild fields.

dutchnational

Hard work?

Richard M

What assets did Germany have in 1945? Did Germany have all the lands that were German in 1940?

Skagos

You are… fucking kidding with me right? Nobody posessed the industrial infrastructure Germany did. You can lose a war, you can lose men but infrastructure remains. If you don’t know any jack shit about Germany, please refrain from commenting on the subject matter.

Also, Germany did not have almost the entire world sanctioning him after the war, which is what Assad will have.

Oh and; Marshall Plan.

Ronald

Note ; on the first map how ISIS just happens to hold the gas pipeline .

dutchnational

Acc to Islamic World News, IS took east Zahic mountains today.

Manuel Flores Escobar

SDF send ISIS to fight vs SAA while they are stealing oil fields…ISIS fighting outside of Turkish border in central desert has no explanation….only ISIS comanders fund by Saudis and under USA direction can explain it!

dutchnational

When did IS ever fought within Turkish borders? They only, in years, set off some bombs there, mainly aimed at the local kurds / HDP.

DJ Double D

Judging by the current events in Syria including the battle for north-eastern Syria, Russia is in a very serious predicament and is on the verge of loosing whatever reputation she has achieved so far all for not being able to finally ‘drive the nail down the wood’. Critics would pounce on me but reality is there very evident for all to see.

Richard M

What? By your “logic” WW2 should have ended on December 8 1941 and the fact that it didn’t “proved” that USA was incapable of dealing with Germany and Japan.

Attrition47

Some time ago, the head-chopping, heart-eating rapers recaptured Palmyra. This success should be measured against it. It’s small potatoes but will make it harder to liberate Syria east of the Euphrates. With the recent Kurd vote, it’s an open question as to whether the Kurds in Syria can keep what they hold, if they’re called on for reinforcements for Kurdish Iraq and Kurdish Turkey.

Kennethllindsy

Thanks for the update Looks like SAA is stretched thin and having to rely on Russians & Iranians to survive. Don’t know if SAA is strong enough to take & hold the 60 miles from Dez to Bukamel.

Vitex

It’s simple. ISIS is running interference for the SDF so the SDF don’t really have to fight anybody. Meanwhile, the SAA (like real soldiers) have to fight a real enemy, reinforced with the special forces of the supposed “free” world

Kennethllindsy

Not really. After 5 years SAA forces are depleted, at Dez comprised of many Iranians & Hezbollah with some Russians- not just Syrians; so Arabs of area are likely to view SAA forces as invading force. Even if SAA took South Furat, it will take a large occupying force to hold it. Gen Z was trapped at Dez with 3,000 so it will likely take 10,000 to hold the area after conquest. US couldn’t hold Anbar in Gulf War 2 with 178,000 troops; so it’s not likely SAA can hold S Furat with a few thousand.

Serious Dude

Assad’s army will destroy Zionists with mental telepathy! If you don’t agree then you are on the CIA payroll and you support the project of Greater Israel! hahaha jk

Kennethllindsy

The Surge was kind of a fraud, the US spent about $30 billion bribing tribes in Anbar.

Vitex

There’s no doubt SAA are reliant on foreign help. I suppose the amount of foreign help they get depends on how much oil they’re prepared to give up.

Kennethllindsy

Oil has some limited strategic value, but retaking Idlib and N Aleppo are far more important.

gustavo

It is not a SDF mistake. They are directed and protected by USA-Israel. It was a big mistake of SAA not to cross the river on time and stop SDF advance. The Syrian generals have made a big mistake here. Now, they can not do anything with the risk of being bombed by BOMBUSA. So, right now, we can expect at the end a dived land of Syria, but I hope to be wrong.

PZIVJ

All hope is not lost. The SDF may be busy for a while securing the northern area. There may be an agreed upon demarcation line just north of the river rail line also. So the bridge head road to the SE may still be open. :) https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/fd9199ccb3d84152fc1466e80d2e450b602af628842894aa6f2c8ac3f6adaed3.png

Solomon Krupacek

your optimism makes you:

Pink Zionist; Israel, Victory, Jahveh!

good night! :)

χρηστος

everything seems to be going well for the terrorists these days. they started fighting in Hama to split SAA. Hama was a forgotten case, part of agreements of cease fire zones etc. No SAA got involved there and took major hits in DEZ province ,where isis is supposed to be fighting sdf as well (laughing). finally the thieves reached their goal. SDF has the oilfields in the area.

gustavo

MAybe I was no clear. SAA has been blocked to advence northeast and to get its oil fields in Omar.SAA had plenty on time to stop and block USA troops (kurds) to move south to its old position, and did nothing for this to happen. Now, there is not way for SAA to move and get Syria oil fields in Omar since it would have to bomb BOMBUSA and put into the risk a WWIII, and Russia will not allow this. So, Syria will be divided, and this will be a BIG LOST for Syria-Russia-Iran-Hezbolah fight.

gustavo

Dear SouthFront, I have tried twice to publish my pessimistic opinion about what SAA is doing in Deir Ezzor, and it just appears a few second and is deleted. My point is simple: SAA has made a BIG MISTAKE allowing USA troops (kurds) to block its advance to northeast. Therefore, it will lose this territory.
