The Tiger Forces, the Republican Guard, the Syrian Arab Army and other pro-government factions have entered the town of Hazeh and captured a number of points south of the Ein Tarma area.
According to pro-government sources, army troops are now in control of about a half of Hazeh and are still developing momentum inside the town.
In coming days, the Tiger Forces and their allies will further develop their advance in Ein Tarma aiming to tighten the siege on the remaining positions of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra) and Faylaq al-Rahman.

Meanwhile, reports are circulating that a preliminary evacuation agreement has been reached between the government and local militants in the area of Harasta. If the agreement is implemented, the army will free additional forces for offensive operations across the area.

Unfortunately there is too many martyrs from SAA side .. to many.. I don’t understand why because now we have 3 pocket and tactics could be just waiting for surrender of other side … like in medieval times: surround the fortres and then just wait

The US Coalition proxy terrorists in Ghouta have also plundered the recent Aid food deliveries and if the frequent discoveries in Deir Ezzor are used as an example, there will be huge stocks of weapons and ammunition hidden in Ghouta.
A simple siege could last for many months and that would play into the hands of the US and Israeli’s.
That may sound logical but it isn’t. Because in medieval times a siege did not run the risk of massive US cruise missile if they didn’t hurry up.
And even in medieval times a besieging army had to take into account that a relief army might show up, or that they would run out of food first. Which wasn’t that uncommon, because defenders would strip the surrounding countryside of food at the first sign of the approach of an invading army. And since armies had no modern supply lines they had to forage their own food.
And there was also the plague…
SAA needs proceeds with its advances, as there are other packets need t be clear. Siting and waiting is not in SAA advantage
There is huge political pressure from outside, as NATO desperately scrambles to create political initiatives at UN to stall the SAA offensive and protect East Ghouta militants. The SAA offensive has been very successful, and due to sheer momentum and rapid advance lines on the ground, the US cannot create proposals or gain consensus to match events at UN, intended to try and stabilize older contact lines and save the militant’s territory. Whilst all offensive urban combat is inherently costly, the SAA currently has a valuable military initiative and advantage.
I have seen the way SAA have been conducting offensive in Eastern Ghouta. It was literally storming sending in troops in the 100s together and just storming and hoping for that they will out-gun the opponents and this tactic may have worked well in the non-Urban areas even tho they took some heavy KIA numbers but I believe they took must KIA in Urban.
I know nobody is willing to release the true casuality numbers but I won’t be surprised if we have surpassed the 10.000+ KIA plus multiple loss of tanks and other equipments. It seem to me that the SAA personally wanted to kill off these forces as if they were surplus or something. Just awkward way of conducting offensive into a heavily fortified area

The militants are losing East Ghouta so have been firing heavy artillery barrages on residential Damascus suburbs in response. Militants killed 35 civilians in Damascus market today alone, with rocket artillery. Militants are foriegn NATO and Gulf sponsored terrorists – they sponsor criminals.

SAA-Russia-Hezbolah-Iran ground troops must move fast and without stop, strong, without fear, brave, without mercy to terrorists, without putting attention to western propaganda, and with strong support and protection of Russia aerospace force.
