The Syrian army’s Tiger Forces, the Desert Hawks Brigade, Hezbollah, Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba, the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) and other pro-government groups are reportedly preparing to relaunch offensive operations in multiple fronts inside and outside the Syrian city of Aleppo. The operation will be supported by the Syrian Air Force and the Russian Aerospace Forces from the air and by Russian and Iranian military advisers on the ground.

How the frontlines have evolved in western Aleppo from 27.10.2016 to 11.11.2016:

The army and its allies, using loud speakers, ordered militants remaining in eastern Aleppo to lay down arms and to surrender. If militants avoid to do this within 24 hours, the government forces will relaunch operations in the area.

Following the collapse of Jaish al-Fatah’s defenses in the al-Assad and Minyan areas of Aleppo city, the army and its allies already achieved some gains in the southern Aleppo countryside, seizing the villages of Kafr Haddad and Khirbat Al-Zuwari.

My, how the worm has turned for these Salafist rats. The Christian, Shia and Alawite forces will drive these Tafkiri rats back into hell where they belong.

Pave Way IV

The majority of soldiers in the Syrian army are Sunni and are just as happy to kill the head-choppers as their Shia brothers. And while the jihadis can generally be considered as more orthodox Salafists, that kind of insults the majority of Sunni Salafists on earth who are not jihadis and have no desire to kill other Muslims (or anyone else). The head-chopper al Nusra and ISIS follow a kind of weaponized Wahabbism exported from Saudi Arabia. It is an extreme form of Salafism that has been usurped into a political tool by the Saudi monarchy to control their little-people citizens. Wahabbism is the state religion in Saudi Arabia. Many Sunnis don’t even consider Wahabbism as a legitimate form of Islam and recognize it for what it is.

I don’t care for the Sunni branch. To me the Shia and Alawites are closer to my Faith because they have shrines and saints. However, thank you for informing me about the makeup of the Syrian Forces.

Barry

Your faith appears to be Nazism.

Percival

You know nothing of my faith Tafkiri.

To call anyone on this site a takfiri is just silly too. You’re like the only name i know on here b/c youre always saying something ridiculous. You sound just like the AQ and ISIS dogs who don’t consider one denomination as good as another. Even if you didn’t, to follow this conflict and be unaware that a huge segment of the SAA is Sunni is mind blowing. You wouldn’t think people need to be told that nowadays. Nor that Sunnis =/= wahabis. I swear some people are just thick.

Some people just cant admit they said something stupid no matter what the facts on the ground are.

Percival

Go to hell hunchback. Are the various Hezbollah brigades Sunni? Are the Iraqi militias Sunni? The Afghan brigades trained by Iran? The Syrian Social Nationalists (or whatever that division is called)? The NDF? IRGC? RAF? Who’s doing most of the heavy lifting? Nuff said.

Marek Pejović

in this war, you should care. i mean, “professionally care”, in a sense that you know who likes and dislikes what, regardless of how far they might be from your religion. otherwise, you’re simplifying the situation, and thereby you are in danger of not having a thorough overview.

Marek Pejović

it’s very important that sunnis are also happy to be kicking ass of wahabis. this provides a sort of legitimacy to this fight, i don’t know how to really explain it. it’s like this: if somebody was doing atrocities in name of my religion, i’d consider it my duty to be the first one fighting them, to stomp out the idiots who are throwing dirt on my religion. I think many sunnis who follow normal moderate sunny islam might think in same was.

Marek Pejović

Someone forgot West Ghouta? one’d think the army would press the terrorists so once that pocket is cleared, they’d have extra troops for either East Ghouts, Jarmouk, or Aleppo.
