Russian Molnia (Lighting) UAVs were allegedly used for strikes on targets in Kharkiv region
The Kyiv regime continues attempts to attack Russian civilian infrastructure amid setbacks on the battlefield. Russian forces work to destroy military infrastructure of the Kyiv regime.
Strikes on Russia
Overnight into December 26, Russian air defense forces intercepted 5 UAVs, which were trying to attack Russian territory. 3 UAVs were intercepted over Volgograd region, one – over Voronezh region and another one – over Belogord region.
Later on December 26, the Russian military reported that from 10:00 to 12:00 local time its air defense forces shot down two Ukrainian UAVs over Belgorod region.
In a daily report on December 26, the Russian Defense Ministry said that its air defence units had shot down 11 U.S.-made HIMARS MLRS projectiles and 56 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles over the past 24 hours.
In the second half of the day of December 26, all airports of Moscow and Kaluga temporarily introduced restrictions to ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights. At about 17:00 local time the restrictions were lifted.
The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency did not clarify the reason of the move, but some media speculated that this was linked to a potential threat of drone attack.
Strikes on Ukraine
On December 26, the Russian Defense Ministry revealed in a statement that Operational-Tactical Aviation, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Russian Groups of Forces struck infrastructure of military airfields, ammunition depots, UAV command posts, as well as engaged the enemy’s manpower and hardware clusters in 143 areas.
Besides this, according to local media, the Russian military continues its campaign of destroying military infrastructure in the rear of forces of the Kyiv regime.
Media claimed that on December 26, a series of explosions hit the industrial areas, weapon depots and other objects of military infrastructure in the regions of Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv as well as parts of the regions of Zaporozhye and Kherson controlled by Kyiv’s forces.

something akin to maddy albright’s notion of essential hegemon. both an oxymoron of sorts.
oh, scratch that, i have a better one.
the new world order defines an essential drone as the opposite of a sacrificial drone, like sacrificial ukrainians. they’ve yet to meet an essential ukrainian though, although i’m sure some must exist somewhere.
