The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue daily strikes with drones and missiles on Ukrainian rear infrastructure. November 26th was not an exception.
At night Russian drone strikes were reported in Kiev and its region, Zhitomir, Khmelnitsky, Rivne, Cherkasy, Ternopil, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson regions. Russian missile strike continued during the day.
The night of November 26th was marked by a devastating blow inflicted to the energy infrastructure in the western Ternopil region. Russian kamikaze UAVs struck the local energy infrastructure near the town of Velyka Berezovitsa. According to local reports, almost half of the region was cut off from energy supplies. The local authorities confirmed heavy damage.
Massive drone strikes targeted Ukrainian capital Kiev. Explosions thundered in the city and on its outskirts. The targets struck by the drones are yet to be revealed but it was confirmed that the local air defense again damaged civilian infrastructure, including in Obukhiv and Berezan.
A series of precision strikes destroyed targets in the border city of Sumy and its region. The local residents filmed Russian missile strikes launched during the day. It was revealed that one of the targets struck by Iskander was Ukrainian military base deployed near the village of Tokari located on the eastern outskirts of the city. The Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered heavy damage in manpower and military equipment as a result of the strikes.
Massive strikes with kamikaze drones damaged facilities of the Impuls and Zvezda plants in Shostka in the Sumy region. The both facilities are used for production of explosives for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the day, Russian strikes were also reported in the city of Krivy Rih in the Dnepropetrovsk region. The target and the result of the attack are yet to be revealed.
In the ir turn, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted another drone attack on the Russian territory. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, at night, 39 Ukrainian drones were destroyed in the Russian western regions. Four Ukrainian aerial bombs were reportedly destroyed in the Kursk region. No major damage was reported on the Russian territory.
