Overview Of Strikes: Ukrainian Unguided Drones Fall On Russian Civilians

Illustrative Image

Russia and Ukraine continue daily strikes in the rear regions. On the night of April 15-16, Russian forces launched a massive drone and missile attack across Ukraine, targeting multiple regions, while Ukrainian drones struck deep into Russian territory in a continued exchange of long-range strikes.

Russian Strikes in Ukraine

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian forces deployed 97 attack drones and decoy UAVs from Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Crimea. Ukrainian air defense forces allegedly intercepted 57 drones across eastern, northern, central, and southern regions, while 34 decoys were lost without impact. Despite the efforts of air defense, the Ukrainian military admitted that strikes affected Sumy, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, and Poltava regions.

Over the past day, Russian drone and missile strikes were recorded in the Donbass, Sumy, Kharkiv, Zaporozhie, Kherson, Mykolaiv (Iskander-M), Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Kyiv regions.

Key targets included:

  • Odesa and Chernomorsk port facilities, critical for military logistics and supplies from NATO.
  • Industrial sites in Kamianske (Dniprodzerzhynsk), Samar (Novomoskovsk) and Pavlohrad, a key transit point for Ukrainian forces heading to Donbass.
  • Ukrainian military facilities in Bucha and reportedly airfields near Kyiv, used for weapons transfers.
  • Ukrainian troop positions, industrial facility and air defense system in Sumy region.

In the morning, a devastating strike destroyed military hideout in the southern city of Kherson. The local ice palace, housing foreign mercenaries in the war-torn city, was pounded with four guided heavy bombs. The extent of casualties remains unclear, but the strike definately caused significant damage.

Ukrainian Drone Strikes in Russia

Ukraine retaliated with drone strikes deep inside Russia, targeting military and industrial sites. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, in total 26 Ukrainian drones were intercepted over Voronezh, Belgorod, Kursk, Lipetsk, Moscow regions and Crimea overnight. Seven more drones were shot down in the morning over Ivanovo Oblast.

The morning attack targeted the city of Shuya, where a Litmash foundry and the Aquarius plant, a manufacturer of microelectronics, are located. There was no damage to the industrial facilities reported, but the footage showed unguided Ukrainian drones Lyutyi crashing in residential areas. These aircraft are flying at low altitude at pre-set coordinates. Their accuracy is very low. As a result, there are random strikes on civilian infrastructure, but the Ukrainian military does not stop such bloody strikes, as well as massive attacks on civilians in other regions.

The overnight and morning exchanges highlight the intensifying long-range warfare between Russia and Ukraine. While Russian strikes focus on logistics, military hubs, and industrial infrastructure, Ukrainian drones increasingly penetrate deeper into Russia, threatening civilians.

As both sides escalate strikes, the conflict shows no signs of de-escalation, with each attack prompting immediate retaliation.

Conspirationist

the good side of the smo in russia is that all defective brains who wanted to go to the front were allowed: prisoners, schizos, bandits (directly from jail to the front). it’s a cleaning, but i must say that 90% of the russian soldiers are normal patriots(but not nationalists), normal good people.

Conspirationist

but 10% are those criminals, among this 10% it’s also the russich (“русич”) regiment who are a neonazi gang and the “espanola” (also a nazi gang), and btw both these pmcs didn’t achieve any palpable result at the front, as both are formed by sickos, cowards and lazy souls. cleaning russia from these 10% racist vermin. great!

Conspirationist

in ukraine the situation is the reverse: only 10% are normal people, and 90% are sickos, rapists, junkies, former murders, and of course the neonzis (which builds the biggest group and includes the infamous azov brigade aka ss wolfsangel that runs both zelesnkyi and the rada). even russian neonazis and white supremascists as well as ethnocentrists joined the afu, for example the russian volunteer corps – terrible bad guys

the narrative

the prisoners are all but gone from russian service . it is a volunteer army . so what is the point here ?

the narrative

russian army recruiting may rise from this attack
