Situation in the sky
The Ukrainian military attacked nine localities in the Belgorod Region of Russia with more than 30 drones over the past 24 hours.
In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) launched a missile strike on Crimea. According to unconfirmed information, several Storm Shadow missiles and four MALD (decoy) missiles were shot down during the attack.
In the Saratov Region of Russia, an industrial enterprise caught fire due to falling debris from downed UAVs.
In the Sea of Azov, the UAF attempted to create an environmental disaster by hitting an oil tanker in the port of Berdiansk.
In response, Russia launched massive strikes on military facilities in Ukraine’s rear areas within a few hours. Explosions occurred in the Kiev, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovograd, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv and Cherkasy regions.
In Chasov Yar, Ukrainian military positions were scorched to the ground by the TOS-1A Solntsepyok multiple rocket launcher with thermobaric warheads.

Situation on the fronts
In the Kursk direction, heavy fighting is taking place. The Russian Northern group of forces is knocking Ukrainian units out of the strongholds between Guevo and Kurilovka as well as in the forest belts of the Sudzha border area. Marines of the 155th Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces (RAF) have almost encircled Malaya Loknya, where there are about 1,000 Ukrainian troops cut off from the main group in Sudzha. Counter battles are also taking place near the villages of Staraya Sorochina, Makhnovka and Bondarevka.

Over 350 Ukrainian personnel, including those from the SOF and the 132 separate reconnaissance battalion, were seen arriving overnight. The Ukrainian side is concentrating its forces near the village of Pogrebki and accumulating reserves in the Sumy Region.
In the Pokrovsk direction, to the east of the city, Russian troops have advanced northwards towards the Pokrovsk-Konstantinovka highway through Vozdvizhenka and nearby villages.

Elizavetovka and Vozdvizhenka have been cleared, and fighting is going on for Baranivka. On the western flank, Russian units are desperately trying to get to Kotlino. Russia has transferred additional reserves here. The intensity of the battles along the line Solyonoye-Novovovasilievka- Uspenovka is not subsiding.
The UAF have retreated to the Andreevka-Yasenovoye line, but the they are not yet hungry for shells. There is approximate parity in drones, with Russian units having an advantage in manpower.

In the Krasnolimansk direction, there is fighting near Ivanivka and Terniv.
In the Kurakhove direction, Russian units have occupied the town of Shevchenko and are expanding their zone of control near it, making the situation for the UAF in the “pocket” to the south worse. There is also fighting for the village of Dachnoye.

In the Velyka Novosilka direction, the RAF advanced along the forest belt northeast of Rovnopol and west of Neskuchnoye. The fighting is going on in the direction of the highway Huliaipole – Velyka Novosilka and in the vicinity of the Novyi Komar settlement.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Ukrainian army attacked the port of Berdyansk with a guided missile. There were no casualties. The hotbeds of fire formed as a result of the incoming attack were extinguished. The strike was aimed at one of the oil product storage tanks.

On the diplomatic front, Volodymyr Zelensky arrived at the Ramstein airbase (Germany), where he officially spoke in favor of sending foreign military personnel to Ukraine. On the same day, the French media reported that the Ukrainian politician had bought a villa on the “billionaires’ island” in the Caribbean Sea. The 436-square-meter property was bought by Zelensky’s Cypriot offshore company Aldorante LTD for 17.8 million euros through a front person, Svetlana Pishchanskaya (Zelensky’s childhood friend). Now an underground bunker is being built there. The contractor is a local company Mancar.
