Pakistani forces detained 44 Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) members, the country’s interior minister Shehryar Khan Afridi revealed on March 5.
According to the interior minister, Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar’s brother Mufti Abdul Rauf and son Hamaz Azhar were among the detained persons.
Afridi told reporters that the names of both men came up on the “terrorists’ dossier”, provided by India, but stressed that the crackdown wasn’t prompted by it.
Pakistan “is acting against the banned groups in its own interest and there is no external pressure whatsoever,” he said.
That’s a good and productive way to resolve xurrent issues and indeed it is in Pakistan’s own interests.

But you have to admit this flare up started with militants on the Pakistani side of the disputed Kashmir border. So Pakistan is taking the right course to calm things down.

I am a secular person who values human dignity, as long as India suppresses the population of Kashmir, the people will resist and get more Islamic radicalized. The best is to hold a UN plebiscite as originally planned and give them secular progressive freedom that helps all. Otherwise the Jihadis will take over big time.
