On March 11, a Pantsir-S1 short to medium range air defense system flipped on a highway between the towns of Sedanka and Patrokl in the Russian region of Vladivostok. The Defense Ministry confirmed that the incident saying that the Panstir-S crew suffered no injures.
The Pantsir-S is a self-propelled, medium-range surface-to-air missile system. It’s designed to provide point air defence of military, industrial and administrative installations as well as military units against aircraft, precision munitions and cruise missiles.
