The notebook of one of the leaders of a separate special unit of the Azov regiment was found in one of the military bases captured by the DPR units. Nazi symbols are seen on every page. Nazi sketches are drawn next to the coordinates of the targets.
The sources suppose that it belonged to Major of the National Guard of Ukraine, commander of the Azov regiment, Denis Prokopenko. In March, he was awarded with the title of Hero of Ukraine. At the moment, he is reportedly besieged at the Azovstal facilities in the city of Mariupol.

Funny you say that. I saw some claims that they are using drugs that have been found with ISIS as well. Forgot the name, but they are supposed to suppress pain and increase fighting capabilities of even heavily wounded personnel.

To my very surprise I have spotted GERMAN wording in these personal notes, particularly a quotation “Eine schmerzliche Wahrheit ist besser als eine Lüge” (meaning: “a harmful truth is better than a useful lie”, (wrongly) attributed to Thomas Mann by A. Koestler) right below a swastika symbol, the phrase “Nord Panzer Divizion” and a sketched Wehrmacht-Soldier. All very, very strange, indeed.
Is it painful or harmful. Painful implies that it is given to a person and accepted for the persons good, a harmful truth is divulging secrets about someone to others in order to harm them. One it is rescuing someone from delusions or deception, 2 it is using truth against someone as opposed to making up stories to harm them. Or could this be used in either way?

The writing on the third photo lower right “Eine schmerzliche Wahrheit ist besser als eine Lüge” means “A painfull truth is better than a lie”. He should have lived based on that.

Strange choice.
