On March 15, Russian war correspondent Eugene Poddubny published a photo and a video showing a unit of the Russian Military Police prepared for a joint patrol along the M4 highway in southern Idlib. According to Poddubny, the unit is now deployed in the northern vicinity of Saraqib and waiting Turkish forces to start the patrol.
Earlier this week, the Turkish foreign ministry claimed that the first patrol will cover the entire agreed buffer zone – from west of Saraqib to the eastern vicinity of Jisr al-Shughur. However, this scenario remains highly unlikely because Jisr al-Shughur is a stronghold of the al-Qaeda-linked Turkistan Islamic Party. So, these ‘moderate rebels’ will be not happy to see the Russians there. Furthermore as of March 14 evening, the M4 highway was blocked by opposition supporters that oppose the Russian-Turkish patrols. Therefore, if the patrol happens, it will likely cover a limited area.
Clearing the green from Idlib and giving it back to SAA is the only option!
Those “opposition supporters” can be driven around, if they are truly civilians, the patrol units are not bound to the Highway.
lol……great start for a bs Agreement, that 99.9% know wont hold……so now without any reprecussions, Turkey and USA and other NATO countries have a free Hand to resupply the headchoppers, reorganize defenses, and time to come up with other wicked and Evil ideas to halter, slow down, stop the hopefully coming soon next SAA offensive.
Putin u fucking bibi cock sucking Zionist pig
Not complete victory but still a victory for SAA. Erdogan didn’t push them behind the Turkish observation posts as he braged. He asked NATO and EU for help.
Also he promised to drill for oil in Greek Cyprus waters and Frech sent their carrier in the region. Everyone in NATO and EU hates him now.
Isn’t Eugene in Russian Evgeny?
Yep!
Civilians are not protectors of Territory. Therefore can be move away peacefully or with limited force. If their sabotage and used are then their can be removed forcefully.
I wonder if the Turks ever showed up?
I am wondering if the Russian soldiers are placing the Turkish soldiers at their front or back of them.
Turks like to be on top while Putin’s Russia is the bottom.
