A Russian military delegation has visited the YPG-held area of Afrin in the northern part of Aleppo prvince. According to unconfirmed reports, the goal of the visit is negitiations with the YPG over the further cooperation in northwestern Syria.

Well maybe these Russians can find out if the Kurdish are in agreement with the SDF , who claim to speak for them , about this “lease agreement” of the SyAAF air base by the dam at Raqqa . My guess is the SDF have been taken over by ” American interests” . We shall see .
Russian intelligence will eventually figure out, who within the kurds are being grabbed by the slimy tentacles of the US state department and CIA and try to make a better deal. No doubt someone “trained” in a US or other Nato country university, receiving fat checks etc. i.e. no different than Ukraine.

This appears to be the carrot and stick approach. Stick=we will stand by and watch Turkey ‘negotiate’ with you. Carrot=we will place our people here with you and that will guarantee your safety. Taking the carrot also means playing nice with the Syrian government…or you can depend on the US for your ‘safety’…LOL.
