Photos: Syrian, Russian Flags At Checkpoints In YPG-held Area In Northern Syria

Photos are circulating online showing Russian and Syrian flags in the area controlled by the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) in the Afrin Canton in northwestern Syria. The photos appeared following reports that a number of Russian troops and vehicles entered the YPG-held area earlier this week.

Russian and Syrian military forces are reportedly setting up militants posts in order to monitor the area controlled by YPG in case of hostile actions by Turkey.

Ahh interesting. See the difference between this Russian-Syrian presence in Afrin compared to the American military presence in Rojava is that in case of a Turkish attack, the later will not dare to fire on Turkoids, while the first will. USA military is just a bluff. Turks will either antagonize Russia or USA, depending on where they choose to attack the Kurds, with this move, Russia is pushing Turkey to attack on the part that is “defended” by American troops and then the world will see how USA will simply spectacate from close distance as Turks attack their allies, then the whole world will see how USA is 100% incapable or just not interested in defending their “allies”.

The other side is trading with SAA already.

Turkey won’t attack passed US because US patrols also prevent PKK arms infiltration into Turkey, which is what Turkey wants in the first place.

Russia should split their force into teams of 2, and give each one a large flag to hoist. This would confuse the turks about what they can and can not target. Plus Russia can have mobile flags driving all around the place ! :)

The Turks will not stick to Russia. Whatever the mean actions of Turkey, but the name of Suvorov, they remembered for a long time. (Suvorov – Russian commander, participated in 12 Russian-Turkish conflicts, in eight of the twelve Suvorov won the victory over the Turks, only 2 fights were won by Turkey.) With regard to the United States, the world is changing rapidly, the truth is more difficult to hide, people are not idiots. If the United States continues its maritime policy, wars and conflicts across the planet, then one day the patience of the peoples will end and everyone will hit the United States, everyone who has ever been brought to the US by grief, death and destruction (American democracy) Syria’s huge greetings from Russia (St. Petersburg). Syrian and Russian men have good luck!

I think these patrols will work and Russia, Turkey, US and Rojava can all be at peace and all crush Daesh and AQ. and all defend abortion rights; unlike Syria and Israel.

NeoLeo

Suvorov was one of the best commanders in history, he never lost a battle.

The ones who have issues with will have to deal with turks main ones (who really need to be told to hove where it doesn’t shine) and a few aggressive SAA and aggressive YPG members will have to come to terms that there is a need for each other. YPG controls the raw materials heartlands and SAA controls the manufacturing heartland kinda like the American civil war with the south and the north.

Jonathan Cohen

If these Russia and US patrols also prevent PKK from moving ammo North into Turkey, then Turkey will settle down too. That ammo is needed to fight Daesh anyway, so we don’t want it in Turkey.
