Last month, the Iraqi intelligence uncovered at least two Strela-2 man-portable air-defense systems (MANPADS) during a similar combing operation in western Iraq.
These intense operations by Iraqi government forces have dealt a major blow to the remaining ISIS cells in the western region. The last few months witnessed a decrease in the activities of these cells.
