US police in the first five months of 2015 shot 385 people. This was reported in a prepared and published research papers on Saturday by The Washington Post.
“The average two people a day were killed. This data is twice more than the official statistics of deaths associated with the use of firearms by police officers in the same period of the last decade”, – the newspaper said.
The Washington Post published the study, consisting of recorded deaths in police use of firearms in 2015, including cases when police officers died on duty. This publication doesn’t consider murders with the use of other types of weapons such as stun. The Washington Post used the interviews, police reports, local news and other sources in its analysis.
