A police officer has been killed in a shooting in Paris. Two more officers have been injured. According to reports, the attacker has also been killed. The incident took place on the legendary Champs Elysees.

The shooting took place somewhere around 9pm local time.
The identity of the attacker hasn’t been released yet. Central Paris is now surrounded with a large group of law enforcement. A helicopter is also flying over the scene.

The terrorist attack comes in the middle of the presidential campaign in France. This incident will definitely be used by all candidates and especially by Marine Le Pen.
