Political West Escalates Arms Deliveries To Kiev Regime

The damage Western weapons cause cannot be underestimated, for as long as the Neo-Nazi junta has even a somewhat functioning military, NATO will continue supplying it.

The political West is increasing “lethal aid” deliveries to the Kiev regime, while NATO Military-Industrial Complexes are using the conflict to heavily promote their products and make astronomical profits. Recently, the Pentagon announced that the United States is allocating another $820-million package to the Kiev regime. It includes the NASAMS air defense systems, HIMARS MLRS ammunition, M113 tracked armored personnel carriers (APCs) and 50 other APCs from US stocks. The delivery also includes 150,000 shells for 155-mm howitzers and 4 counter-battery radars.

The US also allocated the previous $550-million package on August 2, which included 75,000 155-mm shells and ammunition for the HIMARS MLRS. The Americans have already handed over at least 20 of these long-range rocket systems, while the US Department of Defense has trained more than 200 Kiev regime military personnel to operate them. The regime has been using it to target civilians, particularly in Donbass. Still, for the political West, this is of no concern, as their main goal is to prolong the conflict and inflict maximum damage on Russia, without having to go to war themselves.

“The UK will send another 50,000 artillery shells and hundreds of anti-tank weapons to Ukraine in the coming weeks,” British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said on August 8.

London will provide the Kiev regime with:

• 20 M109 self-propelled guns;
• 36 L119 towed howitzers;
• counter-battery radar stations;
• 1,600 anti-tank weapons;
• a large batch of UAVs, including loitering munitions;
• over 50,000 Soviet-caliber artillery shells.

The UK is buying Soviet-caliber shells for the Kiev regime as its forces have either spent theirs or lost them to Russian long-range strikes. The European Union also allocated another €500 million. Since March 2022, Brussels has already allocated over €2.5 billion in weapons to the Neo-Nazi junta. What’s particularly disturbing is the massive scope of German participation as Berlin’s arms supplies are directly contributing to the death and destruction brought upon the people of Donbass, who already suffered tremendously under the German Neo-Nazi jackboot some 80 years prior. Berlin seems to have quickly forgotten its central role in the rise of Nazism and the horrifying consequences it brought upon the world, particularly the Russian people. In August, Germany handed over 3 MARS MLRS, 3 self-propelled howitzers, 54 M113 APCs, 30 “Gepard” anti-aircraft tanks, the IRIS-T air defense system, “Cobra” artillery detection system and 43 drones. Previously, Germany also transferred:

• 3,000 Panzerfaust-3 anti-tank missiles with 900 launchers;
• 14,000 anti-tank mines;
• 500 “Stinger” and 2700 “Strela” man-portable air defense systems;
• 7 Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers;
• 21.8 million firearm rounds;
• 50 anti-bunker missiles;
• 100 MG3 machine guns with 500 spare barrels and bolts;
• 10,500 155-mm shells;
• 10 anti-drone guns.

Training of over 100 Kiev regime personnel to operate “Gepard” anti-aircraft guns continues in Germany. Ukrainian air defenses will also be strengthened with two US-made NASAMS SAM batteries, each with 54 missiles arranged in nine six-container launchers. Lithuania will soon hand over several dozen M113 and M577 APCs. Australia is also donating $74 million in weapons, which will include 14 older APCs and 20 “Bushmaster” vehicles. Arms deliveries aren’t only limited to state actors. Mortar shells produced in Taiwan also appear to be in service with the Kiev regime forces. A territorial defense battalion from Zaporozhye published photos of J-M49A2 and J-M52A2 60-mm mortar shells. It later turned out the US transferred some of the artillery ammunition reserves from Taiwan to the Kiev regime.

The next US package will add another $175 million in weapons and training, artillery shells, armored vehicles, as well as 580 “Phoenix Ghost” kamikaze drones/loitering munitions. The Kiev regime is especially interested in acquiring additional strike drones. The much-touted “Bayraktars” will now be accompanied by 20 “Warmate” kamikaze drones, in addition to hundreds of reconnaissance UAVs, including 20 “Fly Eye” drones and 78 “Matrice” quadcopters of various modifications. Knowing that the Kiev regime openly uses these weapons against civilians, the replenishment of its drone fleet is of particular concern.

The US also allocated $100 million to train the Neo-Nazi junta pilots to fly F-15 and F-16 fighter jets, which is already underway at US airbases, suggesting the Kiev regime could soon receive these jets. In addition, the US is also ready to transfer its A-10 “Thunderbolt” close air support jets.

“We are open to discussing Kyiv’s demands and how we can meet them,” Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall said at an August briefing. His words followed that of US Air Force Chief of Staff Charles Brown, who said that “the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine would have to abandon Soviet aircraft in favor of something not Russian.”

Meanwhile, the Kiev regime forces are experiencing difficulties operating Western weapons and systems. Firstly, many soldiers simply abandon them when retreating, and secondly, they can’t perform field repairs. Commander of a company of the 10th mountain assault brigade, Andrey Savchuk, who surrendered to Donbass forces, admitted that a significant portion of foreign weapons was destroyed, damaged or lost. The most trouble the Kiev regime forces are having is with American M777 and German Panzerhaubitze 2000 howitzers.

The German guns require sophisticated maintenance and logistics, making it extremely hard to use them effectively. There are also problems with the gun’s high rate of fire, as a result of which its loading mechanism is under extreme stress. For German troops, 100 rounds per day is considered an extremely high load for a gun, while the Kiev regime forces require thousands. In addition, the Kiev regime’s deployment of NATO weapons has become a logistical nightmare because of their diversity and complexity.

Still, the damage caused by Western weapons systems cannot be underestimated. As long as the Neo-Nazi junta has even a somewhat functioning military, NATO will continue to supply it. Therefore, demilitarization is one of the most important tasks of the ongoing special military operation.
