Ukrainian authorities intend to apply to the international maritime court with a complaint against Russia due to loss of access to the waters of Crimea, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said on Wednesday.

Kiev accused Moscow of violating the Law of the Sea Convention (LOSC), and now the country hopes to use the court to reclaim the right to use the territorial waters of Crimea in the Black and the Azov Seas.

“Ukraine will apply to the UN International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea in connection with violation of the convention by Russia. And we will use every opportunity to bring Russia to justice,” Ukrainian media quoted Poroshenko.

According to Russian diplomats, a meaningful and businesslike talk about the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea with Ukrainian officials did not take place. It is expected that the claim will be considered before the end of the year, and decision will be announced in the first quarter of the next year.

At the same time, Petro Poroshenko has demanded the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide its practical proposals dedicated to the return of the Crimean peninsula to the country. The politician announced this during a meeting with Ukrainian diplomats.

According to the Ukrainian President, a systematic deterioration of the human rights situation is allegedly observed in Crimea, as well as strengthening of the military forces.

“I expect that the Foreign Ministry will transfer my initiative to establish an international multilateral mechanism for the liberation of Crimea to the practical level. Proposal are expected in the near future,” Poroshenko noted.

The day before, the Ukrainian President announced a new task – to raise the Ukrainian flag over the main cities of Crimea and Donbass.

Meanwhile, US President Barack Obama said that the US will support Ukraine, while the country protects its independence and territorial integrity, sharing an opinion about united and strong Europe. The statement was made during congratulation on an occasion of the 25th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence. In his speech, Obama stressed that American people, including Americans with Ukrainian roots, have always been in partnership with Ukraine to move the country towards independence.

And this is what passes as statesmanship these days! Both Poroshenko and Obama come across as clowns, complete clowns!

United and strong Europe? That means weak countries that follow the orders of the bigger ones.

am so, so tired of the EU and the US,Inc. So tired of the Rothschilds, the Soros’ and other Bolshevik trash…. Killing 100 million Christians wasn’t enough for you, eh?

So Poroshenko just revealed their motives for attempting infiltration / sabotage attacks in Crimea, he wants to make it look like the locals are resisting Russian occupation.

A statement attributed to him … ‘According to the Ukrainian President, a systematic deterioration of the human rights situation is allegedly observed in Crimea’

“The liberation of Crimea to the practical level” has already been achieved by its vote to rejoin the Russia Federation which is now a reality. All this is a distraction of the misery and collapse of Ukraine and any hope for its people any where in Ukraine. Kiev’s current rule is by dictatorship and the plunder of oligarchs as their rewards for subjecting their people to the very thing madian’s purpose was to eradicate and free the people from.

yes…. both are intellectually challenged…. and, both are clowns……
