On July 19, six warplanes and two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Israeli Air Force (IAF) violated Lebanon’s airspace, according to Syrian pro-government sources.
According to sreports, warplanes and UAVs flew in dual formations near the Syrian-Lebanese border in what appears to be a wide reconnaissance mission.
The warplanes are flying in close formations, two each. The UAVs are also flying side by side, which is unusual.

Lebanon’s National News Agency confirmed that a number of IAF warplanes flew over different regions of the country on high, medium and very low altitudes.
This year, the IAF launched a number of aerial attacks on Syria from Lebanon’s airspace. Most of the targets were located in the central governorates of Hama and Homs. The two main targets were Shayrat Air Base in eastern Homs and Masyaf Scientific Research Facility in western Hama.
Despite posing a real threat to Syria, the Syrian Air Defense Force doesn’t engage IAF warplanes over Lebanon.
The Israeli sorties over Lebanon today indicate that the IAF is preparing a new wave of airstrikes on targets in central Syria or near the capital, Damascus. Another possibility is that Israeli warplanes were involved in a reconnaissance mission against Hezbollah.
We are always ready when our enemies decide to test our determination, like I told to Garga today, it seems the day of confrontation is getting closer. If a war starts, it will be the biggest war this region has ever seen, and no country would be out of it. Syria and Lebanon would be the first targets, as rockets would hit Israeli cities and kill civilians. In return, the IDF would also retaliate against Damecus and Beirut, turning them into a rubble. Iran would then mobilize their army, as the U.S and other NATO members would send reinforcements over here. The only question is Russia, which side they would support? if they go against us during a wartime and help Syria, that is game over for the relations. Let’s wait and see, it’s getting closer as Iran keeps pursuing their nuclear bomb. Israel has said time and time again, it will never happen.
