The Syrian Army and Liwa al-Quds have further advanced against ISIS east of the Khanasir road in the province of Aleppo.
On Satuday, pro-government forces reportedly captured a major part of the Tuwayhinah Mountain near Durayb al-Wawi. On Friday, Liwa al-Quds liberated the al-Alam Heights in the same area.
The whole government push in the area is amited at putting an additional pressure on ISIS units in the area east of the Ithriyah-Khanasir-Aleppo road and to build a buffer zone near this vital supply line.
The SAA nit should push East until they meet with SAA Tigger force coming from North and together continue East and South-East. This will shrink SAA defence line and relief a lot of inventory and military hardware
And till IS Raqqah contigent reinforces east Homs and T3 frontlines.
Worried about how the uqayribat / shumariya pocket and the arak / talila fronts have died.
i think it is to much frontline for them they are more concentrated on the other endless fronts.
But the Operation Great Down to liberate Deir ez zor is running still 2 weeks. :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
It may resume once SAA reaches Ithriya-Raqqa road from Makanah.
