Government troops are clashing with ISIS terrorists north of the Syrian city of Deir Ezzor, according to pro-government sources.
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the National Defense Forces (NDF) have recently seized Hatlah Fawqani and the Halabiyah roundabout and reached the bridge north of Deir Ezzor city.
The situation with the bridge itself has remained unclear since government troops reached it earlier this week. ISIS has launched few counter-attacks in the area, but has also not been able to achieve own goals and to force the SAA to retreat.
