Russian forces have been developing the advance in the area of Bakhmut (also known as Artemovsk) in the Donetsk People’s Republic amid international media jitters over the incident with US MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicle in the Black Sea.
As the United States voices its ‘deep concerns’ over the crash of the military combat drone in a close proximity to the Russian borders, US-controlled armed formations branded as the ‘Ukraine Armed Forces’ continue to lose ground in the region of Donbass.
As of March 15, Russian units took control of the village of Zalizyanskoe near the town of Orekhovo-Vasilievka, north of Bakhmut. Together with the recent Russian advances around of Kleshevka and in the direction of Stupochki, Kiev’s forces in Bakhmut have only the one route to flee. This is Bakhmut-Ivanovskoe-Chasov Yar. At the same time, almost entire Bakhmut-Ivanovskoe sector of this route is under fire from the Russians.
Despite this, the Zelensky regime does not seem demonstrating any wise thinking. Recently, the administration of the president of what left of Ukraine claimed that they are set to defend Bakhmut at any cost. Therefore, this sector remains the hottest point on the currently established contact line. The Russians successfully use their advantage in artillery and air power to inflict heavy losses to waves of conscripts and mercenaries that Kiev regularly sends to reinforce its forces in Bakhmut.
Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry released a fresh report on the progress of the military operation in Ukraine:

Additionally to this, reports appeared that a warplane was shot down in the area of Bakhmut. Some of the sources claim that the warplane was operated by PMC Wagner. The very same sources claim that the pilot survived the incident.
Meanwhile, the conflict on the territory of former Ukraine showcases that the United States and its allies have been steadily trying to provoke even more larger conflict in Europe. Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Seymour Hersh reported on March 14 that the United States could get directly involved (SF comment: if somebody believes that it is not involved enough yet) the Ukraine conflict if it sees that Kiev’s forces are on the back foot.
Speaking at an event in Washington, DC hosted by the Committee for the Republic, a non-profit organization, Hersh noted that the US “did stupid things” during the Vietnam War, and suggested that Washington could “start doing something else” in the Ukraine conflict.
“I don’t know what happens if it goes bad for Ukraine, you have all this manpower,” he said, pointing out that the US has dispatched units of its 82nd and 101st elite airborne divisions close to the Ukrainian border, while “a lot of weapons and arms are coming” to Europe.
“I’m told the game is going to be: this is NATO, we are supporting NATO in offensive operations against the Russians, which is not going to fool the world… It’s us fighting Russia,” Hersh stressed, without disclosing his sources.
According to Hersh, “the big deal” is that Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to come to an agreement with the Ukrainian government. “The deal is demilitarize, and it’s going to be a no-go for us,” the journalist said, adding that the Russian leader “has not put in his main force yet” in the conflict.
Summing up the Ukraine conflict, Hersh argued that “we just may be kidding ourselves what’s going on there and what the results are going to be”.
Hersh was the person that on February 1 and 2 released a report on last September’s Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipeline blasts, accusing Washington of orchestrating the attack. MSM and Western diplomats do their best in an attempt to cover this open secret in the shadow of speculations and lies. Regardless, the fact that at least some Western journalists are really interested in the truth brings a weak light of hope to the darkness of the global MSM propaganda.
Incident In Black Sea is a game changer because it’s the first time that a American aircraft has been shot down by Russia on porpoise (there was no excuse coming from the Kreml, which is the correct position). It says a lot about the determination of the RF in winning this conflict. So yes, it’s big deal and Russian will win. Big time.
You are incorrect. In 1960 Gary powers spy plane was shot down by the USSR
I am talking about the time of the SMO. Besides, the USSR is not Russia. IMO the RF should shoot down Any NATO aircraft approaching Russian territory for the purpose of espionage/recognizance.
No, he is correct. In 1960 there was URSS, not Russian Federation.
We don’t really know what happened with that drone,if it was a malfunction or forced down.
digger please, go drink brandy with jens holm at the gay pub
I know enough to state with a high degree of confidence the MQ-9 is pretty soaking wet
Wrong the game changer will be when military bases and cities in the continental united States are destroyed.
If he’s not limited hangout, then why is he seeding his audience for direct involvment?
Hersh is absolutely limited hangout. He never, ever questions the big imperialist picture, and he will go on and on about how great and free the US is, and was during the halcyon days of the 50’s and ’60s when they were busy overthrowing sovereign states like Iran and Guatemala, running MK Ultra, Cointelpro, Chaos and Garden Plot at home, dropping more bombs on Laos than on Germany and Japan combined during the Big One, etc. ad infinitum. His role in the coverup of the defenestration murder of Frank Olson, who was going to spill the beans on US bio-warfare in Korea and MK Ultra programs tied to US bio-weapons programs is quite something. Hand-in-glove with Cheney and Rumsfeld in the Olson affair. “National security for the land of the free, nothing to see here.”
Spot on. He’s also a “fellow traveler” with the likes of Ritter and MacGregor. He who is compromised plays for no one but the devil.
Yes, you are right. But Soviet Union did the same, right?
Where did the Soviet Union come into the discussion of Seymour Hersh? The Soviet Union was dismantled over thirty years ago. There is something clearly wrong with you, Golden Shower Child. And your statement is also wrong. I am not aware of the Soviet Union running their own MK Ultra, Cointelpro, Chaos or Garden Plot operations. I am unaware of the Soviet Union dropping more bombs on Laos than the Americans dropped on Germany and Japan during WW2. I am further unaware of the Soviets using bio-warfare and covering it up by throwing their own citizen out a window. But if you’ve got those documents, just bring them with your Holodomor papers.
“I am unaware of the Soviet Union dropping more bombs on Laos than the Americans dropped on Germany and Japan during WW2.”
Afghanistan?
“I am not aware of the Soviet Union running their own MK Ultra, Cointelpro, Chaos or Garden Plot operations.”
KGB? Gulags?
However, it was good that, for example, the Greeks did the correct thing in 1946-1949. And you know that? For a scum like you, for sure, I would have come to your house, beat you up like hell and throw you from the balcony, but if I did that I would go to a prison for nothing. If there wasn’t prison, I would do it with pleasure.
You’re just seething, Golden Shower Child. And fact-free, as per usual. The toughest li’l fascist on the inter-webs. I don’t claim to know a lot about the Greeks, but man-boy love is frequently associated with you folks. But I’m not here to judge.
The gutter guy is speaking about golden showers. Amusing. Personally, I don’t have the fascist boogeyman, I am adult. All that I know is that your friends took a nice beating some decades ago. And it seems that you are hungry for more.
Karen have a soy boy latte and spend some quality time in your safe space.
Ok basement dweller Stalinist. That’s why your ilk failed first in 1953 and secondly in 1991.
Yeah but Russia nuked Japan… oh wait that wasn’t them
Zelensky is following Hitler’s play book to the letter. Hitler called the shots on the Eastern Front and no tank divisions could be moved without his approval. At least Hitler served as a corporal in the German Army, Zelensky served as a poor actor on TV. Both has no business calling military shots, the leader sets the policy not direct the battle front!
Zelenskey is in control of nothing,he can’t fart without a green light from his Empire handlers.
Mor ho!!! Svetu mier!!!
Tebi ja materku upičkku čeşku pederski.
Who do you like more? Bosnian SS or UCK?
The civilian airliner Tu-154 Siberia Airlines Flight 1812 was shot down by the Ukrainians in 2001 over the Black Sea while conducting a training exercise, killing all on board. That drone was just some overgrown remote control toy model airplane, it doesn’t seem much different to the USA popping the Chinese balloons. Although those were over US territory, the drone was helping Ukrainians kill Russians so it seems reasonably justified, and a very restrained response, no-one got hurt, even if it didn’t simply crash by itself as was also suggested.
It’s very good of the USadmin to allow the Russian military the chance to battle harden their troops and test their weapons against Ukrainian’s, before declaring war on Russia. Declaring war used to be the honest way of solving heated disputes. These days we have no honest people left in western politics or the military. Western neocons today don’t want to be leaders. They want to be despots. The Russian admin are getting all their ducks in place and they are under no illusions about american terrorism. I wonder which US city will be first to suffer the same treatment metered out to those in the Donbass with US and nato weapons and blessings? Perhaps when american cities are being destroyed like so many in europe during the last century, american’s will see why eurpoeans don’t want to repeat their mistakes
Declaring war was never the honest way of anything. As Clausewitz said, war is politics by other means, and politics is dirty, dirty, dirty.
You don’t need to declare Nuclear War. Everyone will understand when a real war breaks out.
RUSIA DEBERÍA TOMAR LA MAYOR CANTIDAD DE PRISIONEROS Y CANJEARLOS POR ODESSA
People seem to forget that boycotting is also an act of war, and actually kills people.. And that alone gives them a certain natural right to strike back..
Japan sanctioned from energy, Before the war.
Russia no respect my mulatto lgbt daddy USA #1 monkeypox
What are the odds the Russians launch an offensive elsewhere as more and more Ukraine forces get sucked into Bahkmut salient? Seems a logical thing to do now that the Russian army has expanded and re-equipped over winter?
