On Tuesday, pro-Turkish militant groups announced start of a military operation against “Kurdistan Workers’ Party terrorists” (refering to the Kurdish YPG) in the Syrian province of Aleppo. The operation was dubbed the “Battle of the People of the Homeland”.

Militants have already engaged YPG units near the imporatnt town of Tall Rifat. Some 7 YPG members were allegedly killed in the fighting.
So far, it is unclear if the militants are able to launch a major operation against the YPG in the area. However, if the statement appears to be true, this may impact the ongoing US-backed operation in the city of Raqqah. The YPG is a core of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces.

I know I see that every day when SAA rats battle ISIS roaches.
Turkey should have to be allied with Syria in any operation in Syria and in Turkey. Then they can succeed without fight and without any causality.
Without Syrian cooperation Turkey cannot achieve any goal. Kurds are not only Turkey problem but it is a problem of entire Middle East. In the region the 2% Kurds are emerging so fast because Kurds act as proxies of US and Israel.

You are right in 1 thing. Turks certainly is a problem around the whole middle east, made believed they are ottomans having lost all their colonies.

The American forces have to protect the YPG against all their enemy’s including Turkey.

Because the Americans and the YPG with Arabs are fighting together the ISIS and then to recapture Raqqa
Kurds are being used by USA to conquer Raqqa and defeat ISIS…so USA forces will put themselves the victory medal vs ISIS….but after that Turkish forces will smash kurds to avoid Raqqa capital of Rojova Kurdish state!…and USA will do not anything vs NATO member!…so we will see Raqqa only under US forces and No Kurds,Turks and SAA inside…..Syrian forces need Iraqi PMU and shia militia to stop US forces in Syria/Iraq/Jordan border as Russia are missing and doesnt show strength vs FSA forces in that part of Syria!
this complicates things even more…..!last time Turkey hit an sdf convoy (i think) the us send troops to mix with them….so if another strike was to take place..US soldiers would be targeted as well…..very strong pilitical statement by the US…..
It’s gonna be turkey attacking SDF from the north The PMU in Iraq attacking the SDF from the east The PMU in Iraq attacking the New Syrian army in the south The SAA attacking the SDF from the west! This will be the new proxy war (Isis is just an obstacle)
Turkey will now ally with Iran, Russia, Syria and Iraq. Its gonna get worse before it gets better!
We have just seen USA bomb the SAA in southern Syria (disallowing a linkup route between Damascus and Baghdad)
And we have just seen “unknown” aircraft bomb the SDF in tabqua and raqqa.
It has just begun!
