This map shows the current military situation in the area of the ISIS stronghold of Raqqah in Syria on February 13, 2017.
Recently, the so-called “Syrian Democratic Forces”, backed by the US-led coalition, have seized Jisr Shanina, Shanina, Tell Mahlas, Mahran and Shanina Grain Silos in the area northeast of Raqqah.
No intense clashes were reported there. ISIS units continue to withdraw to defense lines around the group’s stronghold.
