Prominent al-Qaida leader killed in drone strike in Syria

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that a senior Egyptian al-Qaida figure Rifai Ahmad Taha was killed in a coalition drone strike on Tuesday in Idlib province.

In 1997, Taha was part of an extremist group that massacred 58 foreign tourists in the ancient Egyptian city of Luxor.

He was also allied with Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan.

i guess it’s a pretty slow news day when even this site is using the SOHR as a source of info. RT did an expose on that phony ( rt.com/news/317372-nimrod-kamer-syrian-observatory ) and anonymous did a nice little write up on him as well ( anonhq.com/truth-behind-oft-quoted-syrian-observatory-human-rights ) . if anyone does not know what i am talking about, check the links. just like pravda, veterans today, infowars, and certain other sites- citing SOHR hurts your credibility pretty badly.
