Prominent ISIS Commander Involved In Killing Of Former U.S. Soldier Assassinated By Coalition In Central Syria

The US-led coalition announced on December 2 that it had eliminated Abu al-Umarayn, a prominent ISIS commander, along with other ISIS members in a precision strike in the Damascus desert.

“Al-Umarayn had given indications of posing an imminent threat to Coalition Forces and he was involved in the killing of American Citizen and former U.S. Army Ranger, Peter Kassig.  He has been linked to and directly involved with executing several other prisoners as a senior ISIS member,” the US-led coalition said in an official statement.

According to FOX News, a unmanned combat air vehicle (UAV) of the US-led coalition conducted the precision strike which killed al-Umarayn and his group.

Peter Kassig was a former U.S. Army Ranger who began delivering humanitarian aid to areas held by the Syrian opposition in 2012. The 26-year-old aid worker was reportedly captured by ISIS fighters on October of 2013, as he was on his way to the governorate of Deir Ezzor to deliver food and medical supplies to refugees. A video of his execution was released by the terrorist group a year later.

The Damascus desert, where al-Umarayn was assassinated, is besieged by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA). This indicates that the US-led coalition had coordinated the operation with Damascus or Moscow.

Another rat is dead. Good.

Agreed. Sad this American doing goodwill was killed, but you have to be crazy to be out there as any Westerner would be. I just wish Trump would work with Russia to end this madness there and then just leave. Leave it alone. A disaster from the Obama era.

Sinbad2

His good work would have been delivering weapons to terrorists.

Shared that dream, Russia and US working together to get rid of ISIS. Even hoped that when they were done it would lead to more working together for peace.

Dejudification would be a good start. The sooner that this evil cult of trouble makers is gone, the better. Russia has gotten rid of 95% of theirs. They need to finish the job and the US needs to start on it. You shared a vision of peace, who are you trying kid with the Zionist filth that you’re defiling these threads with?

Looks more like killing ‘lose ends’, which could mean that the Fake-ISIS has outlived its usefulness – if it’s not all a lie and he gets a new face in Bariloche…

Tommy Jensen

It proves US have been fighting ISIS all the time and US cleaned Iraq and Syria for terrorists, while Putin and Assad were busy bombing civilians who refused to vote for dictatorship.

Dream on, there are the weapons shipments from Rumania, done via public written out open contract from the Pentagon, there are pictures and films in which John McCain meet with Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. There is no way out for Nato, Israel and the US away from the ISIS number: http://www.globalresearch.ca/did-john-mccain-meet-with-abu-bakral-baghdadi-the-alleged-head-of-the-islamic-state-isis-isil-daesh/5498177
