Protests In Serbia: What Else Is The Goal, If Not The Maidan?!

On the evening of December 24, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić gave an emergency address to the nation amid a rally in Belgrade. He stressed that the actions of the opposition supporters are not a revolution. Law enforcement officers are in full control of the situation.

He called on the citizens to calm down, claiming that “with a gentle and peaceful reaction, (security officers) try not to offend any of the random demonstrators”.

Vučić also added that the Serbian special services had received a signal in advance about the planned riots. He thanked some foreign intelligence services that warned the Serbian leadership and provided it with information that an attempt at a “color revolution” was being prepared in the country.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić: Some in the regions have begun to celebrate and talk about the successful revolution that is taking place. It is clear to you that this is the result of many serious geopolitical circumstances, with the help of which they are trying to destroy the independence and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia. We will preserve Serbia’s freedom, because this is the highest value. We will preserve the independence and sovereignty of our country.

Earlier, Vučić said that the provocations by the opposition in Belgrade would have no result. He stressed that in the country “the government is replaced only by elections.” He admitted that there are “Maidan” sentiments in the capital, but the people of the republic as a whole do not support the pro-Western opposition.

“The people do not want to give you power, but you have decided that you love yourself very much and want to change the will of the voters,” the head of Serbia said.

“The government is changing in the elections, Serbia is a democratic country,” he said, addressing the opposition.

In addition, the Serbian president commented on the words of the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, who claimed that the West has a “great desire to launch Maidan” in the Balkans similar to the revolution in Ukraine.

“What else is the goal, if not the Maidan,” Vučić said in response.

Supporters of the pro-Western opposition first rallied outside the building of Belgrade administration on December 17, after the opposition lost the parliamentary elections. Then the coalition “Aleksandar Vučić — Serbia must not stop” won 46.7% of the votes, the united opposition gained only 23.69% . At the same time, both coalitions received similar results in Belgrade: 37.48% for the presidential coalition against 34.38% for the opposition.

The protesters demand the cancellation of the results of the elections. Representatives of the opposition movement Serbia Against Violence symbolically used violence during their peaceful protest. The most violent instigators were hiding their faces and destroyed the surveillance cameras. Today, they surrounded the building of the Belgrade City Assembly (city administration), tore down the door with flagpoles and attempted to break inside. The also broke windows and began throwing stones and beer cans into the room. They tried to set a fire there and . The demonstrators started setting off flares. The gendarmerie blocked the entrance to the administration of the Serbian capital from the inside.

Demonstrators blocked the central street of the Serbian capital. They also built a stage in the city center.

The correspondent of the pro-Western N1 was spotted in the very center of the crowd. N1 belongs to the British United Media, which massively buys up Serbian media and conducts anti-Serbian activities, even without being officially a media outlet:

Together with the EU flags, the protesters brought the symbol of “Resistance” (Otpor), under which Milosevic was overthrown. The pro-Western opposition clearly shows that the real goal of the protests is a color revolution but not “fair elections”.

Finally the crowd was dispersed. Investigative actions are now beginning on the spot, Serbian Interior Minister has also arrived to the area.

The leaders of the defeated Serbia Against Violence bloc call the cancellation of the vote their main task, but in fact their main target is at least to demonstrate the Western media the disagreement of the Serbs with the policy pursued by President Vučić, so that the elections are recognized as illegitimate in Europe. The European Union has already stressed the need to “improve the electoral process” in Serbia.

It seems that the sponsors of the Serbian opposition finally gave a green light to use force and instigate violence. If the tensions grow, the protests in Serbia will turn into a revolution similar to the 2014 Ukrainian Maidan. According to the favorite scenario of the West, only a representative of the US State Department with cookies is missing on the street barricades.

vucic is very nice to the west, he does everything they want, except directly antogonising russian because the population is largely pro-russian. only point that might justify a maidan could be to allow gas in eu thru turquish stream.

the first gen. of post war polititians only had to not be anti us/ eu (kostunica/ tadic). the second had to be us/ eu friendly but could still be friendly with russia (vucic). the third has to be just like zelinsky/ sandu/ pashinjan put us/ eu/ nato before anything else. vucic thought to be pro western but not anti russian will work out in the long term but thats not how the us & eu work.

M.Paraplu

lol @ putting eu before anything else. it’s just the us and nato is the us.

ironically, the ‘cia’ color revolution playbook is just a copy of the real power elite that controls the yanks. we are not allowed to discuss the murder cult that has been evicted at various times by most the nations in europe. poison and terror coupled with usury is their strategy.

Cromwell

those optor scumbags should be shot, don’t make the same mistake yanukovych made, crush those western backed gangsters, it’s not as if vucic is pro russian, but he is not pro nato and us reich enough.

facial recognition of elements involved, targeted arrests, then convenient “eternal” disappearance of all complicit actors in staged events.

stopthewarnow

all allies of russia will experience these globalist attacks like in belarus and now serbia.

politicians in the west have an agenda for such scenarios: see nothing, hear nothing and say nothing. just sit out, -done! — if this does not work, in some cases a few people will be murdered, such as at the capitol in washington. — important for both: the control of the press and the formation of the general opinion within the population.

i am just wondering why the same playbook works time and time again. does the rest of the world even have such bad secret services and are the people really that dumb? yeah if this works out a few at the top will get rich but all the “footsoldiers” just like in the maidan will get nothing. and if they have bad luck even a bullet in the head by whoever.
