On March 2, Ukrainian saboteurs crossed the Russian border and attacked a small village of Lyubechane in the Bryansk region. Ukrainian Nazis fired at the civilian cars which were passing along the road near the village. As a result, at least two men were killed in their cars.
The boy Fyodor was going to school with two other small girls in one the cars which was fired at by Ukrainian Nazis. The man who was driving the car managed to escape from the ambush and drive several kilometers after he was heavily wounded by Ukrainian fire. The man died of his wounds.
Fyodor saved the lives of the girls. He took them out of the car and helped them to hide in the forest, despite the wounds he suffered.
The boy was hospitalized. During the surgery, a lot of Russians expressed their support to the young hero. On March 3, Investigative Committee Chairman Alexander Bastrykin ordered to award Fedor with the departmental Medal of Valor and Courage for heroism and self-sacrifice.
Fyodor’s mother said that her son has always followed the example and was proud of his brothers, who are now bravely fighting on the Ukrainian front lines.
Let’s hope this hero has a future to look forward to. If the western people do what is responsible and expected of them via some very old laws and customs then he most probably will have something to look forward to other than following his brothers in the fight against nato invaders.
What a brave boy, soon-to-be man, already the hero with blood of his ancestors in his veins. I admire your courage and compassion towards others. Hat off, Fyodor!
No, he became a man that day, being a man is not going by age but actions. Yes he is not legally an adult but he is a man. I am with you on the rest totally on what you said so God bless him and I hope he strives to make himself a great man for himself and his country!
Fyodor, your 1st duty in the future is to have at least 5 children and educate them to be as brave as yourself.
Brave young russian boy saving lives of his two friends. These children not even yet started life, and they have to fight wars and nazi regime. This is, they have to grow up too fast, not fair. They should play with other children, go to school, enjoy childhood. This boy is super brave, Russia should be proud of him.
