In September, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Al Thani donated the Boeing 747-8 plane, worth around $500 million, to the Turkish state, particularly President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Commenting on this situation, Erdogan stated that Turkey was interested in buying the jet.
“When the Qatar emir was informed of this he gave it as a gift, saying ‘I won’t take money from Turkey. I will give this plane as a gift,'” he stated adding that “the plane is not mine, it is the Turkish Republic’s”.
The Qatari decision is obviously linked to the Turkish backing of the Arab state in its conflict with Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Bahrain. Previously, these states severed all diplomatic and trade links with the gas-rich state over its alleged close ties to Iran and its alleged support for terrorists – a charge it denies.
In August, Qatar’s emir approved a package of economic projects, investments and deposits worth $15bn to support Turkey’s economy and currency.
This is one of the few cases where the bugs are in fact a feature.
Would not trust a second hand Boeing, particularly if it has a mind of its own.
You think it has eyes and ears?
May be it comes with belly dancers…
Stocking up with some Turkish Delight for Erdys extended flight home !!.

Or enslaved harem women. I dont know but id bet all these arab monarchies are gross.
Oh Yes there are plenty of rumors that same flown in ladies from eastern Europe went into those palaces, in hope of fast money – and came never ever out again…
I like the exit sign, do they supply a parachute?
I bet the wheels have been loosened…
“Gift”? – that’s a funny way of spelling “bribe”.
How noble anyway because of the Qatari emir. And say that with this little fallal you can land directly on the roof of Recep Tayyip’s newly inaugurated palace in Ankara. That humble abode is just big enough, you do not even have to find a parking space for it! Sultan Erdogan will be delighted!
