For the second day in a row, several radical groups led by Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) shelled residential areas in the towns of Asilah, Salhab and Mahardah in northern Hama the town of al-Wdihi in western Aleppo.
The militants’ shelling didn’t result in any casualties. However, it triggered a fierce response from the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), which struck several headquarters, ammo depots and positions of the militants in the towns of Khan Shaykhun, Masasneh and Maarrat al-Nu’man.
“The army’s unit confronted the terrorists with suitable weapons, infecting confirmed casualties in their ranks and destroying their hideouts and fortified positions,” the SANA’s reporter said on February 17.
A day earlier, thre militants launched dozens of rockets on several villages in northern western Hama. At least three civilians were injured as a result.
These attacks pose a serious challenge to the Russian-Turkish demilitarized zone agreement, which may be witnessing its final days. A recent report by Sputnik revealed that the SAA is preparing to launch a military operation within the zone, if diplomacy fail.

“RADICAL MILITANTS CONTINUE THEIR ATTACKS ON RESIDENTIAL AREAS…”
I could only see that part of the title and thought the article was going to be about the yellow vests in France. I probably shouldn’t give the MSM or Macron any ideas…
[Edit: Shouldn’t HTS really be called US-backed Al-Qaeda spinoff HTS?]
Man you’re a rock star.
If these retaliatory strikes were actually successful Idlib would be empty of Headchoppers and their infrastructure by now. The fact that they keep on coming suggests the damage inflicted is probably not that great as we are being led to believe.
Use some armed drones and kill the fuckers Russia…Lets go
