At 8:30 a.m., on March 29, a powerful blow was heard in Mykolaiv. Locals reported that a rocket hit the area of Sobornaya Square near the buildings of the city and regional councils. In the morning, footage of the destroyed building of the regional administration was shared by local Ukrainian authorities.
The office of the governor of Nikolaev Vitaly Kim was reportedly destroyed right in this part of the building. Today, he is one of the most famous Ukrainian politicians who is endlessly filming videos from his office.

The rocket reportedly hit units of the Ukrainian National Guard in the building. According to Mr Kim, casualties among civilians were avoided, 3 soldiers were likely killed.
