The Russian Aerospace Defense Forces concluded their airstrikes for Sunday over the Al-Raqqa Governorate after destroying an ISIS camp inside the village of Taweel’at in the northern part of the province.
On Sunday, the Russian Aerospace Defense Forces carried out several airstrikes over the ISIS terrorist positions inside the Al-Raqqa Governorate in northern Syria.
A senior officer from the Syrian Arab Air Force reported that the Russians struck ISIS’ positions at the oil rich town of Al-Mansourah in southern Al-Raqqa. Those airstrikes destroyed a number of armored vehicles and the terrorist group’s concentration camp.
The Syrian Army source added that on Sunday night the Russian fighter jets carried out a total of 3 air raids above the Al-Mansourah oil refineries.
It is also reported by a battlefield reporter that Russian fighter jets launched two powerful air raids on the Tal Simon Camp near the provincial capital of the Al-Raqqa Governorate.

However, the Syrian Armed Forces with the help of Russian airpower are advancing from two different points towards the strategic Tabaqa Military Airport in the Al-Raqqa Governorate. According to reports, the Syrian forces are approximately 35 km west of this base.
