The Soviet nation has confirmed its support (not only military) to Bashar al Assad’s government.
Russia began its military operations in Syria on September the 30th, and since then, Putin’s commitment to fight terrorism has been the clearest one of all the members of the coalition against ISIL and other extremist groups like Jabhat al-Nusra in the region.
But as the Russian leader claimed, their intervention won’t be only in the military aspect, but also in the political one by means of a coordinated cooperation with the leading powers of the world and the nearby countries of the region in order to grant a peaceful and long-lasting solution to the conflict that was torn the Islamic nation apart.
Despite the West opinion that Russia is supporting carnage of Assad’s regime against Syrian people, Russia holds its statement to create the proper environment to guarantee political stability by means of a process which main goal would be the consensus of political, ethnic and religious parts involved.
