Amid the ongoing military operations in Ukraine, US President Joe Biden went to Europe, where a NATO summit was held on March 24.
Despite Kiev’s attempts to involve NATO in a war with Russia and establish a no fly zone over Ukraine, the alliance has once again confirmed its unwillingness to get into a military confrontation with the Russian Army.
Instead, the alliance has decided to strengthen the defense of its own territories. Four additional multinational NATO combat groups of 40,000 troops will be deployed in Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia on a permanent basis.

The Polish Government is insane. It is understandable if they are frustrated by the flow of migrants into their country, but the idea of engaging Russian troops through a peace-keeping or any other kind of force threatens to escalate the conflict into a global and nuclear war. Poland were charging German tanks with CAVALRY at the start of WWII. It is nice that they have advanced their armed forces due to US arms trading but they need to manage their ego.

If Belarus follows Poland’s lead and joins the party to recover Transianka, then I wonder how long it will be before Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova and Hungary also launch ‘peacekeeping’ missions of their own to liberate Carpatho-rusyn, Romanian and Hungarian people from the Ukrainian nationalists and expand their borders? If in another 30 to 60 days, which isn’t very long in the scheme of things. The Russians advance to where Odessa, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia and Dinpro are cordoned like Kiev, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv currently are. Russia will be in control of 9 out of 10 of Ukraine’s largest cities. And with it most of the Ukrainian economy and the vast majority of it’s manufacturing and industrial base.
To accomplish this the Russians only have to expand the footprint of their control by another 20% over what they have now.
