The Russian military launched on June 1 a group strike against Ukraine, targeting energy facilities powering the country’s military-industrial complex as well as depots of Western-made weapons and ammunition.
The group strike was carried out in response to recent “attempts by the Kiev regime to damage Russian energy and transport facilities,” the Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
“The goal of the strike has been achieved. All the assigned targets have been engaged,” the ministry added.
The command of the Ukrainian Air Force alleged that air defense shot down 35 of 53 missiles and 46 of 47 drones which were launched by the Russian military during the attack. However, official Ukrainian sources reported damage in at least five different regions.
Ukraine’s Energy Minister, Herman Halushchenko, acknowledged in a statement on social media that energy infrastructure in the Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kirovohrad and Ivano-Frankivsk regions were struck.
In addition, the country’s largest private energy firm, DTEK, said that two of its power plants had been seriously damaged in what it said was the sixth attack on the company’s plants in two and a half months.
Videos posted to social media also showed a series of blasts in the region of Lvov, where key energy facilities and military bases are located.
The Kiev regime stepped up attacks on the Crimean Peninsula, Belgorod and several other Russian regions in recent weeks in what appears to be an attempt to make up for the recent defeats of its forces on the battlefield. Weapons supplied by the United States and other NATO states were used in many of the attacks.
The latest Russian group strike on Ukraine’s energy facilities and military depots was not the first, and will not certainly be the last.

less electricity = more time to think in silence. in other hand it could be the sign of incoming advance. there is info about moving forward west of rabotino. it could be attempt to outflank rabotino or beginning of advance along dnepr river.
times are going to be tough for rump ukraine this winter. i’ll be waiting to savor the moment the eu says to ukraine, sorry…no more electricity for you. you’re now stiffing us on the electric bill just like you stiffed russia on the gas bill for years, and stolen ours out of your pipeline to boot. ukraine – bad investment, like a biden bum for a brother in law living in the basement, eating all the food in the kitchen and selling the silverware to the local pawn shop.
nazi flatheads like gneaus stapo soon to enter the chat and cry about “how dare you”, just like little greta! then he will circlejerk with the likes of benjamin, aka the crocus bloke, how “we are not the nazis, its them!” all while waving the piss&tears flag and doing the adolf-salute infront of the eu-parliament.
guillable nazi clowns!

it’s most likely a closed deal that the parts of ukraine south of donbass will fall, undermanned as it is. all extra troops diverted to charkov where mayhem awaits zelensky’s ardent followers!
knowing the nature of this neocon warmongering human detritus and its ukrainian fascist and european slave class, i’ve already resigned myself to this ending in nuclear war and might as well just enjoy leafing through real estate listings in uruguay while the internet’s still up..
