Russian Space Systems will now be reoriented to domestically develop and manufacture microelectronics for use on satellites. “Companies in Russia are ready to replace imported products”, said the CEO of the company.
Russian producers, China and several other countries are now willing and able to provide a replacement for the electronics used on satellites, which previously had to be purchased from the United States, Andrey Tyulin General Director of the company Russian Space Systems told journalists.
“Russian manufacturers are now able to replace the imported equipment. Earlier, the domestically produced electronics did not reach the parameters required by space and military complexes, but we found a joint solution to fix this,” said Tyulin.
Tyulin also said, “In all areas, especially electronics used for ground-based systems and on-board systems, the company is shifting to domestically produced microelectronics.”
He said Russian Space Systems will cooperate with China and all other countries and companies that have not joined the sanctions against Russia.
