On April 2, the leadership of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation held the meeting headed by the Russian Minister of Defense Army General Sergei Shoigu. The Minister opened the meeting, briefly describing the situation in the zone of the special military operation in Ukraine.
According to Shoigu, since the beginning of the year, the Russian military took control of more than 400 square kilometers in new Russian regions.
