Russia has protested against “provocative actions” United States forces deployed in Syria, Rear Admiral Oleg Gurinov, deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria, said on March 31.
The senior Russian military officer said that the “provocative” incidents had occurred in Syria’s northeastern governorate of Hassakeh where U.S. forces have been deployed for several years, leading a coalition and backing the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces.
“Provocative actions by units of the U.S. forces have been recorded in al-Hasakah governorate. During joint Russian-Turkish patrols, the movement of two patrols conducted by the so-called anti-terrorist coalition were tracked along the non-deconfliction routes near Deiruna-Aga and Saramsak. The Russian side has protested to the coalition,” the TASS news agency quoted Gurinov as saying.
According to the officer, the violation of the deconfliction agreements by the coalition jeopardizes the fragile balance of power in the region, and also has a negative impact on the development of the situation.
Russian and Turkish forces conduct joint patrols in Syria’s northeastern region as a part of a deconfliction agreement that was reached in 2019.
According to recent reports by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a London-based pro-opposition monitoring group, Russia strengthened some of its bases in the northeastern region with air defense, radar and ballistic missile systems during March.
Most of the reinforcements were deployed after a deadly confrontation between Iranian-backed forces and the U.S.-led coalition that took place last week in the governorates of Deir Ezzor and al-Hasakah.
Russia is apparently working to mount more pressure on the U.S. over its military presence in Syria that is not approved by the legitimate government in Damascus. Russian warplanes flew over U.S. bases in the country dozens of times in the last few months, according to U.S. officials.

Where’s the UN for these illegal, theiving invaders. Time to drop the fighting Terriorism BS
Maybe a bomb or two might fall “accidentally” on the U.S. imperial occupier base in Syria….
If this isn’t American soldiers fighting Israel’s battles, what is it?
They are being paid in shekels. So whats the problem?
They call me an anti semitic kook when I say things like Americans are idiots fighting a war for Israel. So I figured they’d tell me why we’re fighting this war.
I may have figured wrong.
The answer is easy: shekels. Thats why Americans are fighting not only one but multiple wars. shekels………………LOL.
Two American soldiers have been smoking cigarettes in front of their Russian counterparts in North-East Syria.
This disgusting provocative act forced Kremlin to summit the US Ambassador in Moscow for an detailed explanation.
Why is that not funny?
Putin is a coward who will sacrifice his soldiers and those of his supposedly allies for the zio terrorist jew scum. He worships Chickenshit Satanyahoo…it’s why he allows them to bomb Syria at will.
All I know is that russian S 400 didn’t shoot down a single plane in Syria.
They are dummies. To make believe. The Russians are copying all American systems (CEO Vladimir, CFO Stanislovski, Burger Tsar, Vkontakte) because they wanted and still want to be equal partners.
Russia needs to arm and support “militant patriotic” groups to take out Slumvillains wherever they and their contract killers are squatting. Pentacon only understands when it gets bitch slapped and bleeds. The same goes for the ZionaZi abomination, nestled like vermin, in apartheid occupied Palestine. The cancer must be excised and all tumors lanced, be it in Syria or rump Ukrapland. Criminals must be removed as in their failed naZi statelet rump Ukraine.

Russia needs to ditch the protests, they are useless. In fact the US likely sees these protests as proof of success. I’ve said it before, surround the US bases and kill anything that comes out of there. Al Tanf is a disgrace. It should be under constant threat, just as their bases in the east should be. What was the term Tramp used? Maximum pressure? Russian planes and missiles should be locking onto western aircraft as constant reminders. Oil stealing convoys should be burning. Why aren’t they? If Russia wants to see a change in Syria, shooting down a couple Israeli planes would accomplish that. It’s Russia’s reticence in dealing with Israelis that has prolonged this invasion more than anything. Then there is the Israeli support for Ukr. It’s no wonder people think that Russia is just as controlled by Israel as the west.
All Russian media and big banks are run by dual citizens. When Israel say run they run.
