A Russian Ropucha-class [Project 775] large landing craft, Azov 151, has crossed the Bosphorus Strait and entered the Mediterranean, according to Turkish blogger Yörük Işık, who monitors developments in the area.
The Ropucha-class landing craft, capable of carrying carry a 450-ton cargo, is parcticipating in the so-called Syria Express, a wide-scale Russian effort to supply the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) with needed weapons, military equipment and supplies to combat militants in Syria.

It’s interesting to note that another batch of supplies is coming to the country amid the reported preparations by the SAA for a military operation in northern Latakia.
Last weekend, an SAA source told SouthFront that the Syrian military is redeploying some of its forces from the southern part of the country to the northern part of Latakia preparing for a possible military action against Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) there.
In early August, prts of northern Latakia and southern Idlib controlled by militants were named possible targets of the SAA military operation. The key reason is that militant groups constantly use these areas to carry out attacks on government positions and to launch armed drones at Russia’s Khmeimim air base in western Syria.
Syria express has to move more tanks, mlrs, ammo Pantsir and Buk M2 into the Syrian hands. After the war, Syria will have a viable standing army with significant war experience unparalleled in the ME.
Agree with that.
God willing and maybe they can reclaim their Golan heights.
s-300s even s-350s some bmp3s maybe trucks(no more Daewoo garbage trucks for troop transports) helos (only 5 mi-8),t-72s to replace the t-55s and later t-62s and some migs 29s smt maybe to reform syaaf.. later on (after Idlib) some su-35/30 ,mlrs(no more bm-21s) , havoks, t-90s, s-500s.. if the comment in amn news is correct i hope that this will be done soon…
You look in the wrong direction, the good stuff will arrive from china in the near future. because russia is not willing to help taking back the golan heights!
i dont believe that this must happen now… after Idlib east syria/kurds and the reform of the econoy maybe… in my country we say never 2 watermelons in the same arm pit… i believe also that the syrians will never betray the russians, they exist because of them remember syria the summer of 15…
Best summer of them all. And it continues! Alao thanks to Hezbollah.
Exactly.
The forces of the axis of resistance are gathering up near the Golan and should strike soon. The IDF will be no match. And the U.S., British and French bases along with their SDF Kurds are effectively surrounded, in a double envelopment. On the Iraqi-Syrian border are the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi PMU’s and Iraqi Hezbollah and groupings, west of the Euphrates you have the Syrian Arab Army, NDF, Hezbollah, about 25-30 thousand Afghan volunteers, and wide support from the local populations and tribes, no mater the faith or affiliation.
There are signs that an insurgency will erupt in Turkish, U.S./ SDF Kurdish areas, all that’s needed is for the NDF to shed their uniforms and launch a brutal , vicious insurgency like we saw in Iraq, where entire armored columns were shredded by IED’s . In Syria, all the SAA abd Syrian government needs to do is arm the locals and advise them. That way, when missiles, mortars and lots of body bags, of coalition, U.S., Britain, French when troops get overwhelmed and maybe annihilated, the Syrian government and SAA can claim plausible deniability.
You may have hit the nail on the head there.
