Today, the Russian Navy announced that Russia sent a new ship armed with cruise missiles to the Mediterranean.
According to the Black Sea Fleet statement, the Zelyony Dol patrol ship armed with Kalibr cruise missiles joined the Black Sea fleet in December, departed for the Mediterranean.
A naval source from the Black Sea Fleet of Crimea said that the ship was bound for Syria and might take part in Russia’s campaign to support the Syrian army.
“The goals of the ship are not public but considering that it is carrying long-range cruise missiles, its participation in the military operation should not be excluded,” the source said.
It is reported that the Zelyony Dol was built in last year and this week the ship took part in a massive landing operation exercise to train “holding the coast” when landing troops attempted to take control.
kalibr and onyx. from Latakia coast they control Sues, Saudi Arabia Persian Gulf. If they have KH102 (I asume they have them on board) then I would skip Syria, being in Saudi position. But those buffons in Rhiad have to obey the masters and they get their heads chopped off.
