The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on September 21 that a ‘Predator’ attack drone belonging to the US-led international coalition was spotted around Urum al-Kubra at the time of attack on the UN convoy.
According to the Russian military, the attack drone had taken off from Turkey’s Incirlik air bas and left the area of Urum al-Kubra a half hour after the incident with convoy.
“On the evening of September 19, in that specific region, a drone belonging to the international condition, which had taken off from the Incirlik air base in Turkey, was flying at a height of 3,600 meters and traveling at around 200 kilometers per hour,” Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.
We recall Russia denied presence of Russian warplanes near Urum al-Kubra at the time of the attack.
US simply checking if their Nusra minions initiated that attack on the convoy as directed.
That or initiating it for them will hellfire missiles off the hardpoints of the drone. Another thing this indicates is that the us likely was watching when whatever happened to the convoy did.
I’m as cynical as they come but I believe that they were just monitoring the convoy like the Russians were. The Russians also said they had a UAV but couldn’t track them at night. I believe that some in my beloved country will lie through their teeth and blame Russia even if they know Russia’s innocent but I’d have to see proof to believe that they would actually attack the convoy. BTW I do believe the attack at Deir Ezzor was intentional but that is a separate incident.
The Russian’s should release the Radar tracking logs from their “all seeing..lol” S-400. You can assume a couple of reasonable assumptions from Russia tortured account of events. Guilt is a bitch.
