On May 9, the annual Victory Day parade is taking place in Moscow’s Red Square. The parade marks the 78th anniversary of the Soviet victory over the Nazis in the Great Patriotic War.
In his speech, President Vladimir Putin congratulated Russians on Victory Day, recalled the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and addressed the key ongoing events.
The President emphasized that the civilization is now at a turning point.
“A real war has once again been unleashed against our Motherland. But we have repulsed international terrorism, we will protect the inhabitants of Donbass, and we will ensure our security,” the president stressed.
The Western elites talk about their exclusivity, play off people and provoke bloody conflicts, sow Russophobia and aggressive nationalism, Putin said.
The President pointed out that the West is provoking conflicts and upheavals, destroying values in order to continue to dictate its own rules, and in fact a system of robbery and violence.
At the same time, Russia’s opponents forgot who defeated the monstrous global evil.
Desecration of the deeds and victims of the people that won that war is a crime and revanchism of those who were preparing a new campaign against Russia, Putin noted.
Putin noted that the Ukrainian people became a hostage of the criminal regime supported by the West, a bargaining chip in their cruel and selfish plans.
At the same time, the Russian President pointed to the heads of post-Soviet states who arrived at the parade and recalled that all the peoples of the USSR fought together against Nazism.
“I am convinced that the experience of solidarity and partnership during the years of struggle against a common threat is a support right now, when the world is moving towards multipolarity,” Putin said.
The president added that Russia is proud of the participants of the special military operation, who fight on the front line, supply the front, and save the wounded.
You are fighting with honor for Russia, Putin said.
The speech ended with a minute of silence in memory of those who died during the Great Patriotic War.
This war will mark the end of centuries of Western dominance and oppression. We are living in interesting times indeed.

..definitely not with Gerasimov in charge , that man didn´t do anything for 10 years, his doctrine was wrong about everything, his battle plan was absolute disaster and wasted away majority of tanks with zero results last year

you should be a bit more critical. its a fact that the start of the operation with only 150.000 troops and some actions with sending whole tank colums deep into enemy teritorry without any air, infantry and flank cover, caused huge losses in man and material, unnecessary.
I think the problem is deeper. There are probably many in the secret service and military who are receiving dollars in separate accounts since the jeltzin days. Everything in russia has been transformed to serve western interests during those days and it is probably very difficult to find every traitor. Perhaps it would be better to just build a new military and secret service and shut the old onces down gradualy while the new ones are beeing build up.
Everything is easy these days with lie detector, but FSB is corrupted and compromised .. fish always rots from the head down.
Today AFU again was shelling Donbass killing civilians and small kids. Kremlin outraged. Putin declared “we have not even started yet to defend our Slavic brothers, therefore we are winning”.
US and UK have decided by majority in their Parliaments to use 50% of their GDP for sending more military hardware to Ukraine, and signed a law into force punishing elderly for their whitewashing of cash.
Russia once destroyed the USSAN financed German NAZI beast in 1945 and that guarantees that she will again destroy the banksters and demons in this the final phase of the Great Patriotic War. This time there can be no compromise until USSA is sent packing from Urupp once and for all and Natostan is defanged and removed from the face of the Earth. sure russia will win. but starting the operation with at least 500.000 instead of 150.000 Troops, than the whole yob would be finished up since months.
Presne tak!!! Putin sa túto chvíľu pripravoval veľmi dlho a veľmi dôkladne. Nič neponechal na náhodu. Všetko si dôkladne niekoľko krát premyslel. A samozrejme pripravoval na to aj samotnú RF. Všetky tie opatrenia všetky tie kroky ktoré učinil, mali iba jeden cieľ. Bezpečnosť RF a opätovné navrátenie vážnosti a postaveniu RF, tak aké mu prináleží. RF je svetovou superveľmocou!!!
That’s good but two mistakes. First, Soviet totalitarianism is also bad. Secondly, groups like Wagner are supporting warlords like Haftar and Hemeti who want the division and the bloodshed of their countries.
Well there it is the russian military at it’s best. Prigoshin and khadirov and all the people in donbas suffering cause of the incompetence of the regular russian armed forces are sending their best wishes to the generals who are only good at parades.
Maybe those in Moscow want to get rid of Prigozhin and Kadyrov.
They would probably if they could. But it seems that those two armys are the only ones who are interested to do anything. The others are just trying to avoid beeing killed.

Execute the warmongers and neocons wherever they are found. Then we shall have peace on Earth. It was with great pride and happiness that I viewed this great celebration. Everything Près. Putin says is true about the West (NATO) yet remember that the behavior of the western financial system is determined by its own bankruptcy. The dynamic of this collapse is the wests own self destructive geometry over the past 50 years.
