On the evening of April 20, an explosion thundered in the Russian city of Belgorod. Soon after the explosion, the Russian Ministry of Defence explained that the reason was an “unauthorized liftoff of ammunition from the Russian Su-34 aircraft”.
Russian aerial bomb accidentally fell on the street in Belgorod. As a result, some buildings were damaged. Three civilians were injured, one of them was hospitalized. People were evacuated from the damaged buildings. They were accommodated in local hotels.
A funnel of about 20 meters remained on one of the central streets.
“An investigation is underway,” the Russian military department added.
The accident most likely occurred as a result of a malfunction. Unlike their enemies in Ukraine, who are hitting civilian homes and blaming the Russian military for their own mistakes and provocations, the Russian Ministry of Defense honestly took responsibility for the fall of the bomb, which once again strengthened public confidence in the Russian military.
Top notch professionalism. The “investigation” will be about , how to hush up the things rather, than anything else…

Common sense and military knowledge about bombing rules. No bomber is ever permitted to fly over the populated areas, specially not cities when they are armed with bombs!! Specially when the country is not in war!!!
How do they go fro A to B then?
Kinda hard to hush up things when you’re accepting your mistake and accidentally bombing your own city. At the end of the day, Russians have more confidence in their military than Ukrainians do
And….How is that mistake “accepted” ?!?! Hi explicitly did not have right to fly over the city ! Even if the bomb was faulty, or if it was mistake of the technicians in fixing up the bomb under the wing. It is also mistake of the pilot, and his superior officer who permitted that flaying route(if that is the case)!!
So it is probably a series of “mistakes” and breach of the strict military bombing rules!! If not worse!
Typical Russian in “professionalism” and rusty sub par technology. Bombing their own people, and cowardly trying to hide evidence. They need to learn a thing or two from us.

Nehody sa stávajú a tak isto ľudské pochybenia. Otázkou je ako v budúcnosti takýmto incidentom predísť. Toto bude už na vedení Ruských vojenských síl.
Why the hell are you flying over your cities which such a weapon….
Obviously bombers do fly over cities to get from A to B, Conducting military moanouevers over populated areas is a NO. However military aircraft do perform military manoeuvres over populated areas in Wales UK, quite frequently.

Luckily no one was killed. Good they admitted, when Ukro AD hit their own buildings they keep lying forever.
