But when combining the best trained, most experienced with the best aircraft..thats pretty hard to beat..but with that being said, the U.S.does need to get out of syria and just let them fools kill each other. There is a good reason why most advance countries like russia, china etc copy our training techniques, our military comand structure and our tactics..not to mention steal our technology….obviously were not inferior. Why would i want to gather all that from an inferior near peer adversary ?..i wouldnt…if he has better than me, then i would want what they have…its simple and standard. All nations do it…right now we do hold the edge..but not by far..russia and china are catching up. Hopefully the day wont come when we have to kill each just to say i told you so..russia china and the U.S. would gain much more helping each other and being allies instead of enemies…im proud of my country too just as you are for yours and i respect that.But until you been in combat and seen the innocent lives it takes and until you have the blood of your enemy on your hands..i wouldnt be so eager to push for war just to see who is better…just words of a advice from an american friend and ex army ranger

I probably should clarify…i say the USAF is the best in the world behind israel…. because Its takes more than one aspect to be the best..their pilots are very good. I would say better than ours in many respects. But they lack numbers and top rated aircraft. As far as the mayham in the mid east, i dont disagree with you. In alot of ways we did contribute to it starting back in 03 when we attacked iraq when we should of focused on Afghanistan. I love my country just as you do yours. But i dont agree with everything she does..unfortunately we dont always get any of the truth until after the killing has already taken place..i seen alot of death in iraq. Unnecessary death. But when the real enemy rose. I dont regret the things me and my fellow rangers did. The only thing i regret is the unnessasry loss of innocent life and yes i blame that on our goverment

Thanks for your reply… but does it bother you (even if a little bit) that in order to “keep iran in check to protect israel”(c) US millions of human beings were killed, displaced, entire states turned into bloody mess, not mentioning thousands of your compatriots that died for that above quote? Of course that bothers me. It bothers alot of americans and american soldiers…were no different than anybody eles..we have a volunteer military. We sign up and serve because we want to protect our country..you dont think it bothers many people to find out truths after the fact..i love my country. I have fought for my country and will again if im called too..but its my country and the soldier next to me is whom im fighting for…not our goverment

We see eye to eye in many things..i hear your compasion in your words..we both see the same thing. Both dislike the same things. We both have families we love. I put one shoe on at a time just like you. I dont hate you because your government or religion is different than mine..but the animosty comes from the lies both our governments tell and the truth is some where in the middle. You havent asked me if i would do it again….maybe you werent going to. But incase you are curious.. yes. If i was called to serve in our next war i would with out hesitation…but praying it would be for the right reasons

There was a lot less of a technological disparity between NVA and USAF back in the 60s. New gen airplanes like MiG-21 were alot cheaper than new gen airplanes that exist today. USSR gave out MiG-21s to NVA like candy.
