After a series of single attacks with only a few drones, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) launched massive strikes on the Russian rear regions. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, in total, 21 Ukrainian UAVs were shot down or intercepted by Russian forces.
In just one night, the Russian air defense forces repelled a series of attacks by Ukrainian drones on five Russian regions. The Ukrainian military targeted the Bryansk, Belgorod, Kaluga and Tula regions. More than half of the eliminated drones, 11 UAVs, targeted the Crimean peninsula.
The governor of the border Bryansk region reported at least three Ukrainian attacks. In the evening, the first drone was intercepted in the Zhukovsky district, the second UAV was destroyed in Trubchevsky district at night, and the third one was shot down in Navlinsky district in the morning.
The massive Ukrainian attacks launched in different directions failed. So far, no casualties or damage to any military or civilian facilities have been reported.
The Ukrainian military continues constant attempts to break through Russian air defense and inflict at least some damage to the Russian rear areas.
