Russian air defenses intercepted at least eight Ukrainian suicide drones over four different regions of Russia on March 7.
In the early morning, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that six drones had been shot down. In a statement, the ministry said that one of the drones was shot over Kursk, three others over Bryansk and the remaining two were downed over Tula.
Aleksandr Bogomaz, the governor of Bryansk, reported two drone interceptions, neither of which caused any casualties or damage. Meanwhile, Kursk governor, Roman Starovoyt, used social media to announce an air alert during the night, which he withdrew within a few hours. And in Tula, local officials said that no damage or casualties were caused by the two downed drones.
Later the afternoon, the Russian MoD announced in two separate statements that two more Ukrainian drones were shot down over Belgorod and Bryansk, without reporting any losses.
Bryansk, Kursk and Belgorod border Ukraine and have regularly been targeted by Kiev forces with not only drones, but also indirect fire. Tula Region, however, is located deeper inside Russia.
Ukraine stepped up attacks on Russian territory after losing the strategic city of Avdeevka in the Donetsk direction last month.
The Kiev regime apparently sees attacks on Russian territory, which usually target civilian properties and infrastructure, as a way to make up for its never ending failures on the battlefields.
Just a day earlier, a suicide drone launched by Kiev forces struck a fuel depot in Kurs, causing a fire. Another drone crashed into a fuel and lubricant storage facility used by an ore refinery.
ukronazis never learn. their regime terrorist attacks on russian civilians bring a reciprocal response magnitudes higher than can be imagined.
