The Russian military repelled over the night of August 13 and 14 a large-scale Ukrainian attack on eight different regions of Russia, shooting down over a hundred drones and multiple missiles.
In a statement, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that air defenses intercepted 37 suicide drones and four Soviet-made Tochka-U tactical ballistic missiles over the region of Kursk, which was apparently the main target of the Ukrainian attack.
At least 37 other drones were shot down over the Voronezh region, 17 over the Belgorod region, 11 over the Nizhny Novgorod region, nine over the Volgograd region, three over the Bryansk region, two over the Oryol region and one more over the region of Rostov, according to the ministry.
The failed attack didn’t cause any casualties. However, minor material losses were reported in Voronezh and some other targeted regions.
The attack came as the Russian military is working to eliminate a large Ukrainian force that infiltrated into Kursk and occupied several settlements last week.
The Kiev regime’s recent attacks on Russian territory, including the infiltration into Kursk, appear to be a desperate attempt to distract the Russian military, which has been advancing in Donetsk and several other directions within the special military operation zone.
These attacks will likely be met with a fierce response from Russia. Ukraine’s remaining military infrastructure and related energy facilities may get wiped out before winter.

if americans are morons and kunts, but are kicking the russian asses and dealing humiliating blows to the russian federation every time you turn on the news, what does that make the russian people then? it’s true russia is winning the war, but the russian federation has suffered an incredible amount of casualties, like what nations have suffered in world wars of old. along with being humiliated on the global stage, russian victory will come at a steep price for vladimir putin!
and the kicker is, that the russians if they had a little more common sense, balls and military discipline, the war would have been over or at the least would not have let their enemies humiliated them like the west has did to putin. if the shoe was on the other foot and russia did the same things that ukraine along with their n.a.t.o backers are doing to them. their would have already been mushroom clouds going off over russia, n.a.t.o. is nothing like the russians!
i got to give the russia air defense systems credit, i wish palestine had a sophisticated and extensive air defense system like the russians do! the gazans are living in ruins, while being exterminated right now like bugs. the war would not have been as bad for them, if they had a air defense system that was able to successfully engage and shoot down as many targets as the russians are able to do.
