AlMasdarNews reports: The Russian Air Force carried out a large number of airstrikes over the Al-Sha’ar Mountains of northeast Homs on Sunday, targeting the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham’s (ISIS) positions at the local gas fields.
According to a source at the nearby T-4 Military Airport, the Russian Air Force killed several Islamic State fighters at the Al-Sha’ar Gas Fields amid a new ground assault by Liwaa Suqour Al-Sahra (Desert Hawks Brigade).
