The first photo, which allegedly depicts the Russian heavy aircraft-carrying cruiser “Admiral Kuznetsov” on the way to Syria’s shores, appeared in social media outlets on October 12.
Previous reports (based on diplomatic and military sources) suggested that Admiral Kuznetsov will depart to the Syrian coast to take part in the ongoing anti-terrorist operation in the period from October 15 to October 20. A large antisubmarine warfare ship, a big sea tanker and a rescue tug were also reported to be set to accompany Admiral Kuznetsov in the campaign, which will last 4-5 months.
Admiral Kuznetsov reportedly has about 15 fighters Su-33 and MiG-29K/KUB and more than ten helicopters Ka-52K, Ka-27 and Ka-31’ that will deliver strikes against militants in Syria from the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea.

Fair winds, sailors! :)
God bless Holy Russia.
Be very careful sailing near Norwegian waters. Norwegians have been itching to launch more faults flag attacks against Russians, and then to try and play the role of victims. Norwegians hate Russians more then any other group of people. Mi6 and CIA are heavily entrenched in Norway because Norway works with any terrorist group that wishes harm and ill towards Russia.
SouthFront you are maki a TERRIBLE mistake.
Admirar Flota Sovetskogo Soyuza (Admiral Fleet of the Sofiet Union) Kuznetsov is NOT an aircraft carrier.
That’s right. It is NOT an aircraft carrier.
Its an aircraft carrying MISSILE CRUISER. Its armed with the amazing P 700 Granit missiles. There’s plenty of information about these missiles on Wikipedia. This ship can destroy an entire battle fleet without even using its runway/wings. And that’s long before the potential enemy (NATO/US) can shoot and anti-ship missile at it.
Hi In general, it’s a good idea to read the article before commenting it. The article says “heavy aircraft-carrying cruiser” and, for sure, you can find more info about it here: https://southfront.org/russias-heavy-aircraft-carrying-missile-cruiser-admiral-kuznetsov-infographics/
Good news.
