Russian Aircraft Carry Out Airstrikes in Syria: Hundreds of Terrorists Killed

The Russian Aerospace Forces are carrying out airstrikes on terrorists, while the Syrian Army is advancing in Aleppo, killing terrorists and their commanders, the Russkaya Vesna information website reported, citing its own military source.

Over the past day, about 200 terrorists have been killed and more than 250 others have been wounded, while 32 pickup trucks, armed with heavy machine guns, and 20 pieces of other military hardware of terrorists have been destroyed, as a result of precision airstrikes of Russian fighter jets on positions of the Jabhat Fateh al-Sham (previously known as the Al-Nusra Front or the Jabhat al-Nusra) terrorist group in the provinces of Aleppo, Idlib, Hama and Homs.

As a result of yesterday’s attack of the government forces on positions of Jabhat Fateh al-Sham in the north-eastern districts of Aleppo, terrorists have suffered significant losses.

So, the main demolition man, who was responsible for equipping ‘jihad-cars’ with explosive devices, Mohamed al-Fatah, has been killed near Bustan al-Basha village. Twenty terrorists have been killed and 20 others, including a battlefield commander Mustafa Halyasi, have been wounded in the area of Handarat. A command centre, inside which a battlefield commander Muhammad Abu al-Hone and his 15 comrades were, has been destroyed in Sheikh Fares neighborhood.

Other 18 terrorists have been killed during an offensive of the government forces in the eastern districts of Aleppo.

Good work. Hope it increases

Escapos

And hundreds of civilians

VGA

The terrorists embed themselves with civilians in residential areas. This is necessary collateral damage.

Escapos

True, but this is a dumb way to create so many unnecessary casualties. This way you only create more radical people who can become terrorists….

Gary Sellars

There is no choice. Nusra cannot be left in control of East Aleppo, and their occupation has to end.’

BTW are you as vocal against the Saudi blockade of Yemen and their shelling & bombing of its cities? What about the upcoming assault on Mosul in Iraq against the ISIS occupiers?

I smell a hypocrite…

Escapos

Something wrong with your nose then. I hate the bias in the western media that they dont show all the wrong doings in Yemen. What will happen to Mosul i’m very afraid of. Maybe they can make a deal like the Russians and Syrians have done with IS when it came to Palmyra.

VGA

This is a desperate fight. The regime was at the verge of collapsing before its allies stepped in. Restricting its only saving grace, its air force, would have been catastrophic and the war would have ravaged the parts of Syria that have been unaffected all these years.

I believe the deeper problem is the support of the USA+saudis etc to the terrorists. This war would have been contained to the sunni-dominated areas and would have been over a couple of years ago without the saudis paying salaries to the terrorists and the USA showering them with weapons from Europe.

Escapos

VGA, good points allround, i agree with almost all of them. But the starting question is still, how did the war start? Wasnt that when the Assad regime aggressivly fought a mostly peacefull demonstration?

VGA

Syria was not a democratic country. With the way the borders were drawn up by the great powers, democracy would never work because of the contrasting racial and religious sects. Unless you think millions of sunnis in the eastern part of Syria voting radical sunni clerics into power would be “democracy”.

It would be a matter of time until the christian, alawite, kurdish and even shiite minorities would be genocided or forced into exodus.

The only solution for stability in a united Syria was this Baathist party. This is why Assad has the support of the shiites (syrians and others, like Iran/Hezbollah),, the alawites (like the Assad family is), the christians, the palestinians (Al Quds brigade) and kurds, more or less.

The demonstrations were spurred on by radical islamist leaders controlled by the salafist Saudi Arabia, UAE etc, power-hungry tribal warlords, the CIA etc … the so-called Arab Spring would blossom in Syria *regardless* of the violent response.

Failed borders = failed demographics, sooner or later a failed state once the powerful regime falls, ask Yugoslavia after Tito died.

Don’t look at this from the perspective of european countries or the USA. There is national identity of some kind in these. In Syria, many are muslims first, syrians second.

Escapos

Thank you for all the information. And i dont want to contradict you, but the violence used by the regime Assad (like his father) cant be described any other then excessive. What do you think is the solution for the region? I can understand that Russia is the best allie Syria can find at the moment, but it wont be a solution for the long run.

888mladen .

Stop calling Syrian government regime. President Bashar has more than 70% support of the total population of Syria. If he didn’t he would have been gone long time ago. He has been elected by the majority of Syrian citizens. Your views have been completely distorted by Western media propaganda machinery. All states who openly oppose US global dominance have been labeled “regimes” by US coalition in order to destroy their credibility. So you are helping them out promoting their lies by repeating their mantra and justifying their crimes against God and Humanity. Bashar Assad is the protector of all citizens of Syria irrespective of their religion and ethnicity unlike Wahhabi and Salafi bigots who cut peoples throats because they exercise their freedom to think independently for themselves. So I would suggest you to get off this discussion because you have done positive harm to yourself and others by disseminating Western lies. Remember every lie you type has a triple strength impact on your mind.

888mladen .

Exactly! It is a dumb way to wage a proxy war against a sovereign state using a criminal element aka terrorists because its people want to exercise their God given right to elect their president by themselves instead of being told by Washington regime.

888mladen .

That’s exactly what happened in Kosovo and it led to the bombing of the sovereign state of Yugoslavia by US Western Allies in their infamous operation Allied Force without UN SC resolution in which Holland has taken its part as well. More than 3000 people were killed. Schools hospitals trains were bombed.

john mason

You sympathize with terrorists?

Escapos

No with civilians… i know that in your blood haze you dont see all the innocent suffering from both sides anymore?

BARNERD

The faster this war ends the more that can be saved. The rebels have no intention of ending it so it’s up to government to end it by beating the rebels. Many seems to forget the lesson of Sri Lanka, it is the government winning that ended the bloodshed.

Richard Hedditch

But the wrong side won that war in Sri Lanka – the American-backed side.

Escapos

Most of the time there is no right or wrong in history…

Nexusfast123

Trite comment.

888mladen .

My honest suggestion take some lessons in logic and rational thinking. That seems to be your weak spot. Have you tried to explain that to the judge or jurors while they’ve been deliberating on the case of the murderer of your beloved daughter?

Escapos

This war can only be won on the negotiation table – to much blood has been spilled

Nexusfast123

Just a troll with nothing meaningful to comment The so called rebels are in the main not Syrian. So its their problem if they are illegally in Syria . Also the US council of human rights refutes the narrative of the western media, sorry propaganda.

Its all about wanting to pipe gas to Europe so any negotiations would be irrelevant given this what the real objective is. The US and their head chopper proxies will keep on killing and lying to have their pipeline.

Escapos

I dont know why do you start with: just a troll, instead of having a normal discussion. I find your comment about the pipeline interesting, do you have any evidence?

EL ZORRO

The best evidence that you are a TROLL…do you have any evidence…do you have any evidence…do you have any evidence…repeating the TALKING POINTS to scape inconvenient facts.

EL ZORRO

If those that pay you, STOP SUPPORTING the INTERNATIONAL MERCENARY TERRORISTS invading Syria, there will be NO CIVILIAN CASUALTIES IN BOTH SIDES.

Temístocles Delgado

There are’nt civilians in this areas.

Escapos

The UN have reported that there are at least 200.000 people still in Eastern Aleppo. Ban-Ki-Moon calls the bombing of Aleppo making it worse then hell.

Richard Hedditch

The UN [ France, Britain, USA ] are pro-Jihadi. Anyway, those so-called civilians are the families of Western-backed terrorists trying to colonise Syria from North Africa, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States. Part of the framework for Greater Israel.

Escapos

I dont know how you can be so antisemitic… hasnt history taught you anything?

Gary Sellars

antisemitism…. you have no effective arguments so you invoke that pathetic old smear….

Escapos

Maybe when Richard kept it to a comment about the UN i could believe it… but the part about Greater Israel in combination with the War in Syria is just nonsense.

Ted

I am not sold on the notions of a giant evil plan by Israel either. Nor do I believe every time Russian air force drops bombs they kill 250 terrorist any more then they hit that hospital again! ( which I am sure the US state dept will report today.) But I will say to trust the UN on this is foolish at best. The same UN who withdrew its derogatory reports about the Saudis human rights violations in Yemen after the Saudis threat to withdraw UN funding etc. As for Israel? Well I find it odd that the worlds most violent Jihadist group has never fired a shot at them? Nor even said a bad word about the state of Israel. I find it odd that Israeli soldiers treat ISIL wounded? I find it strange that ISIL fighters wear brand new IDF web gear? Something is amiss here. Evil master minded plan? I think that’s way too much credit given. But support and knowledge of who and what they are supporting, I think that’s a given at this point.

Escapos

Ok, i didnt know the UN withdrew the report about Yemen. Clearly the Saoudi coalition is commiting a lot of human rights violations in Yemen.

888mladen .

So Saudis have committed “human rights violations” but SAA has been killing babies and their mothers right. Nice sugar coating for the crimes of the most repressive regime in the world after USA of cause. In your state of mind I can only pity you. And remember war crimes committed by your iluminated queen Beatrice and prince Barnard who openly declared himself to be a Nazi. Anyway your state is known to be a Jewish run parish.

Ted

Yes try a quick google search, Reuters, the New York Times numerous others. Saudi Arabia threatening to cut funds from Palestinian refugees and numerous UN aid programs for a UN report that listed the killing of children and civilians in Yemen. The UN at the end of the day is nothing more then a business and like all business it protects its bottom line, the dollar. The idea that there is something more moral or more valuable is only that, an idea.

888mladen .

In “Journal for Judaism and Zionism,” by Oded Yinon, he writes that the agreements in the Camp David Accords should not be honored, and discusses how Arab states will be eroded along ethnic and religious lines. That’s exactly what’s happening and the secular government in Syria has been an obstacle to that grand master plan.

George King

I think you have escaposed from reality, try watching or reading nineteen eighty four.

Escapos

Yeah. really great book. Good thing that my country the Netherlands has nothing like Big Brother in that book.

EL ZORRO

Those are interesting statistics

FSA /AL Qaeda controlled part of Aleppo 250,000 (12.5%)

Government controlled part of Aleppo 1,500,000 (87.5%)

So when the US and Ban-Kimoon says that Russia is attacking Aleppo, it means it is trying to liberate the last 12.5% of the city. The UNITED STATES INTERNATIONAL MERCENARY TERRORISTS switched off the Suleiman pumping station that provided water to 1.5 million Syriancivilians in government controlled West Aleppo, creating an unprecedented humanitarian crisis and Ban-Kimoon remain silent and complicit when the UNITED STATES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR SUPPORT OF the INTERNATIONAL MERCENARIES TERRORISTS that commit the crime.

Escapos

Yup, but that was after a syrian or russian bomb hit the water supply for eastern aleppo. I read you that most of the civilians are in the goverment sectors, that doenst mean u should forget the 200.000 civilians in the eastern part. After all the barrel bombs, you can understand they dont exactly are filling with happiness for the Assad regime.

Ted

Potato, patato! Water station destroyed by Russian bombs or by terrorist ? Either way there is no water. I would venture to guess that those people would be free to leave the area at any time. So why do they not leave? Why would you stay under a barrel bomb? I think you have to ask yourself what is it today that has caused the Syrian government to be dropping those bombs? Were they doing this in Alepo six or seven years ago? If the Syrian government were doing this to them for all those years, why would it be an issue now? Why would it be abnormal? I think its pretty clear as to whats changed. If there were no terrorist in Alepo there would be no bombs. Syria was a stable secular country prior to the attempted Arab spring. Without outside intervention Syria would currently be a stable secular country.

EL ZORRO

when your TERRORISTS used the civilian has a shield.
